Of all of those only Sonic was in my interested but Sonic Lost World looks like a huge disappointment, after playing the brilliant Sonic Generations I expected the Sonic Team to keep with the same formula though as SLW is a Wii U exclusive it's more like "Sonic the Hedgehog: Galaxy".

Anyway, this topic is about Dragon Ball: Battle of Z, not Nintendo.

Battle of Z (Warriors) ?

That's what comes to mind, to me at least.

By the way, I've outgrown Nintendo so their games no longer interest me. I did like Nintendo.. when I was 8 years old.

Nintendo is a shadow of its former self. Their best games are now in our distant memories. Donkey Kong, Super Mario, Zelda, and some other awesome series. It's not the same anymore. Sony now rules the gaming world.

In hindsight, some of the posts in this thread are kind of hilarious. A few of us (myself included) correctly predicted what would actually happen, a multi-platform release including Vita.

I wouldn't be surprised if Namco Bandai's initial PR for a western release fails to mention the Vita version. I suspect it'll be hard for the company to justify selling a $40 feature identical version of a game on the same shelf as a $60 counterpart. In Japan that wouldn't be a problem since they'd be the same price. I suspect it'll be a similar situation to what One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is getting. Initially Namco Bandai said the Vita version wasn't being localized, but unofficially a Namco Bandai EU employee stated it was, and an Amazon France listing seemed to confirm it. I imagine it's going to be a delayed release to justify the lower price.

Battle of - attempt to tie into Battle of Gods' success
Z - attempt to tell the audience that this is an all-encompassing Z game rather than just a BoG adaptation
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

I like Sonic Lost World a lot so far. The boost was neat and all but i'll take the iconic spin dash over that any day. Plus it's not like the boost mechanic is necessarily gone. There is a speedup option. This new gameplay looks like Sonic so I don't have a problem with it. The only thing that I didn't care for so far was the sweets level. I get more of a Sonic X-treme 2.0 out of it rather than Super Sonic Galaxy but to each their own  .

We still have the Japan Expo to look forward too in two weeks. We are likely going to see some gameplay footage for once.

This games sounds exciting and multiple people at once is a big game changer to the same game over and over. I like it so far can't wait for trailer.

As for the Nintendo discussion. I like Nintendo. I still think they make great games but get over looked too hard by the cod buying "bro-gamers" That's why this gen I have Wiiu and will have ps4 on launch too. As i still like playstation too.

What are the chances for a new Opening performed by Hironobu Kageyama (or even the whole JAM Project gang)? Considering, that Kenji Yamamoto is out of picture and the Singles of old DBZ games like "Super Survivor" or "Battle of Omega" aren't sold anymore (might be wrong), I would say the chances are pretty low...
I'm also little worried bout the game BGM, I want a good composer (get some composers from Ca$hcom or Arc Sys)...

EDIT: If the BGM isn't satisfyable, I will just change listen to my Touhou arrangement collection (Iron Attack, IOSYS, Sound Holic, ect.) ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Way to be mature. It's not a matter of "outgrowing" a game, your tastes just changed. Nintendo games aren't rated EC for Early Childhood, they're rated E for Everyone many times (sometimes more depending on the content). And I've played Nintendo games since the late 80s/early 90s from my infant/toddler time of struggling with SMB1 on the NES, to excitedly waiting for Super Mario 3D World. Not just a child thing man (ironic too, discussing outgrowing Nintendo on a forum dedicated to a children's cartoon).

I agree that it's too soon to call. Who knows what it might look like in action...but even if it is a port, that might not necessarily be a bad thing. A game that's had plenty of time to be improved could be good.

Perhaps it could be a modified version of that game with extra content or something.

There's no problem with a new song you know. Kageyama still does music, so I don't see why they can't just get a new composer.

Would kill for a new Kageyama OP, love his music.

Not really. The only companies supporting Cross Buy have been Sony, and independent developers. Other Namco Bandai PS3/PSV games have been separate purchases.

I'd be disappointed if this didn't support any cross platform play. A game like this would benefit from having a user play on PS3, while a friend plays on Vita against them in the same room. Sure, about 15 people have that set up, but I'm one of them.

Did you buy a Wii U thinking it would get all multiplatform games from third party developers? I kind of feel sorry if you bought it for that purpose because Wii U isn't getting that much attention from devs.
I didn't get one yet, but I want one because I think Nintendo games are the best (Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros., etc)

I was hoping that Dragon Ball games would be released on it. Perhaps we'll see Dragon Ball games for it when sales pick up.

I haven't really been too disappointed that I haven't bought the last several games because I don't think they have been as good as Infinite World or BT3. My brother got RB2 and UT, and I bought RB to play on his 360. I'm still happy with BT3 and IW.

One does not simply "outgrow Nintendo".

Just because Mario doesn't spout 578694 gallons of blood when he gets hurt does not mean Nintendo games are only for children.
