If they include Gogeta SSJ4 of GT, that's perfectly fine because it's the only playable GT character I'd like to use.

It looks like a pretty generic brawler game with a dynamic camera. The graphics look well textured but the models seem quite blocky and rushed.

It kind of reminds me a little bit of Dragonball Legends - which wasn't nice to look at but was by far the funnest of the PS1 titles to play.

Noticed from the trailers there is now the ability to run on the ground, same with Zenkai Battle Royal so I guess that was expected.
I guess you get to fight generic Freeza henchmen in the story while fighting Guldo.
I really do enjoy these graphics but like I said Goku's feet are annoying the hell out of me, he is just so clunky. :?

Kuririn, Yamcha, and Tenshinhan had their Cell arc outfits in Saiyan arc... And Chaozu & Yajirobe were nowhere to be seen... So, I don't expect a huge rooster for now.

My favourite DBZ graphics of this gen: Burst Limit > Raging Blast 1 > Ultimate Blast > Raging Blast 2.. I don't know where Battle of Z belongs in this list, yet. It does look very inferior for now but the gameplay is where the meat is, and that's the part I'm most excited for to experience.

What about Krillin's height. He looks a little to tall lol. The character roster I'm predicting from the short trailer is the main character for each saga.

Damn, I swear we'd finally get a rooster added after all this time.

I also think the graphics look kind of weird. But only kind of.

Graphics do look weird, but I think the stages look kind of nice. In all honesty though, it just feels like they're changing the graphics for the sake of changing the graphics.

A quarter of me is thinking that this is just another Sparking!!/Raging Blast game with minor adjustments to incorporate four players, another quarter is thinking that this looks quite fun and interesting, while half of me is thinking, "Fuck this, I want Zenkai Battle Royale!"

Treevax on the FB page for DB games.

I think I'll have to buy a Vita, lol.

I'm not fond of the 3D models (shape), they are less beautiful that the Spike ones. Especially for Freeza. I think it's due to the size of the mouth, they are too small compared to the overall face. The battlegrounds textures seem a little strange, also.

The gameplay seems very dynamic. I'm just afraid that ARTDINK completely mess with the respect of the DB official story just because of this 4vs4 possibility. If the footage is from the storymode, Krilin's death is the reason why Gokû turned super saiyajin, why is he still here fighting?

But hey, it could have been far worse! lol. Nevertheless, you'll still have me on your back, giving you guys constructive cricicisms! ;)

See you at the Japan Expo! ^^

Seems its not Spike anymore, but ARTDINK. :)

Maybe the graphics aren't very good because they're also working on developing for PS Vita which is inferior to the 360/PS3, so there's that but hopefully Vita's not to blame for the bad graphics.

Infinite World graphics look sweet and it's a PS2 game yet this is for HD consoles and it's just... meh.

Wow. I know, I know. "lolyoutube." Still, this thought process just needs to die already. This is what leads to rushed, unrefined games like the Raging Blast series. What is it about this fanbase that just can't comprehend that focusing on content, gigantic rosters and story modes is what leads to these titles being so underwhelming in the first place?

Just for once I'd like to see the game actually feel complete, polished and actually playable. Then I'll be content(pun not intended) with them shoving in as much frivolous nonsense like a crapload of characters, battle damage, and so forth in future installments after they've actually made the damn game(which is utilizing an as of yet unfinished, entirely new engine and new models to boot) functional.

To Quote the Namco Bandai Europe trailer's comments section (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyK1_rEWBII):

"OmegaC208 13 minutes ago

Is the gameplay like Zenkai Battle Royale?"

"NamcoBandaiGamesEU 6 minutes ago

inspired but different"

Well, that answers that, for those who were curious.

This is the jump that the Dragon Ball games for the home consoles needed, now the multiplayer aspect will be hugely used and I'm so glad for that, it's been terribly boring until now (RB2/UT) to play 1v1. Seriously that's so 2010! :P

Gameplay engine seems to be the usual Spike to me. Doesn't bother me, at least.

The thing is, they had barely 1 year to finish the Raging/Ultimate Blast games, which is why they were that rushed. This time however, they had been developing this game for 2 years. They should have time to make a big rooster.

After Raging Blast 2 came out in 2010, if they've done a Raging Blast 3 the following year I knew they would tackle some sort of Tenkaichi Tag team style game for home consoles after they've concluded the raging blast trilogy.. Sadly, RB3 never came to fruition; I wanted them to make the ultimate 1 v 1 game such as RB3 before going to the next level which would be Battle of Z. But oh well...

Raging Blast 2 sales were terrible, as well as, Ultimate Blast's sales.

I'm happy that Namco Bandai killed the idea of making Raging Blast 3 because Tenkaichi-style games have been done to death, it's time for new gameplay to be available for DBZ Home Console gamers.
