Expectations are high but as for gameplay all we've seen was just from the trailer and that was pretty short. Although it looked highly exciting to play.

I don't need the gameplay to be good. I don't know about you guys but the spectacle of Ichigo vs Naruto vs Goku vs Luffy will be enough for me!

Is this game going to have Seiya, the guy from Saint Seiya?

From: Saint Seiya - Sanctuary Battle

With Seiya this game would be complete for me.

Goku Vs. Seiya Vs. Luffy Vs. Naruto Vs. Ichigo Vs. Kenshin

Wow, what a battle that'll be!
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

Well you can't have that exact battle because there's only four characters fighting at a time, I think
I don't see why Seiya wouldn't be in the game, he is one of the most popular characters from Jump and if Ichigo is in (and his videogame rights aren't owned by Namco like Goku, Naruto, Luffy and Toriko) Seiya will be as well!

Seiya will probably be in the game. Namco Bandai have the videogames rights of Saint Seiya, so it's almost a given. The same can be said about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

While we are at it, Kenshiro from Hokuto no Ken / Fist of the North Star may not be in the game. The creators Tetsuo Hara and Buronson left Shuisha some time ago and created their own publishing company, where they publish FotNS and their other old works. This is why Shueisha is not in the credits of Ken's Rage 2.
Oh, and Tsukasa Hojo left Shueisha with them, so probably there won't be characters from City Hunter and Cat's Eye in the game.

Unlikely but if this game is based on who appears in this magazine. Will kid muscle be in it? I loved Ultimate Muscle and would love him to be.

Well, Kenshiro and Raoh (from Fist of the North Star) were both in Jump Ultimate Stars, so never say never...

I have a feeling we may be seeing at least most of these following series represented in J-Stars:
Hunter X Hunter
Shaman King
Fist of the North Star
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Kinnikuman
Gintama
Hitman Reborn!
D. Gray-man
Yu-Gi-Oh
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
Bastard!!

These JUMP series were some of the more popular and longer-running ones that weren't already announced for J-Stars.

Maybes:
Death Note
Eyeshield 21
Slam Dunk
Captain Tsubasa

Again, these titles were hugely popular, but none of them are fighting shows, so I don't know how they'd be incorporated into the game.

I wouldn't count him out, but those are actually some figures made to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Shonen Jump. You can see more of them here: http://www.shonenjump.com/j/45th/figure.html

Bastard!! is apart of Ultra Jump. I doubt we will see Dark Schneider in the game anytime soon.

Thank you, Yeah I figured they were not for the game. However I still want to see him in it. I know he's not the most popular but I liked kid Muscle.

It was published in Shonen Jump for most of its run.

Unlikely, since the whole BoG advertisement is over, and this game gathers characters from popular manga, and Beers never appeared in the manga.

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Freeze, Cell and Majin Buu have a much better chance.

I think the villains from DB should at least be Piccolo Daimao (Young), Freeza (Final Form), Cell (Perfect Form), and Majin Boo (Pure).

Speaking of Saint Seiya, the new PS3 game developed by Dimps will be released in North America as a PSN only title.
