OK, so I already had all of a certain item, but I've had a bit of success lately in 'upgrading' my collection.

Here's a shot of my bookshelf, including the new items (size B5 and AB only; A4 and larger don't fit on the shelf):

And here's a better view to help make it clear what's new:

The word "KAI" means in the old North Germanic language Frisian "Kämpfer engl. Fighter" respectively "Krieger engl. Warrior"!

I wipe it off the tile, the light is brighter this time, everything is 3D blasphemy.
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up, this is not the way I picture me.
I can't control my shakes, how the hell did I get here? Something about this, so very wrong.
I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this. Is it a dream or a memory?

Dragon Ball: Saikyō e no Michi OST.
"Those transformations insane,
They wanna turn up hours late and steal the show from the pros who had to die for the name." - Yamcha (DBWTF: Z-Rap 3)

"Over saturation is easy. Just drag the slider to the right and there you are: instant interest. And certainly, the majority of the public likes saturated color images. In fact, if you want to quickly create a popular image, simply over saturate the colors and increase the contrast. While you may not achieve a sophisticated image, you will achieve an image that will please a less demanding audience." - Alain Briot

Finally decided (on a total whim as part of another purchase) to get the first "season" of Kai on Blu-ray.

Currently watching through it in Japanese, and I'm amazed at how much I'm enjoying it. I spent basically its entire run on Japanese TV trashing it, and while, yeah, there's a certain level of creative bankruptcy in just cutting the old footage rather than directing a completely new series, and while, yes, it's (very) occasionally sloppy with its edits, I can't deny that I'm way more into the Saiyan arc than I've been in years. The quicker pacing, combined with how good the image looks and finally having a respectable Japanese audio track, is actually allowing me to feel excited by the material again. I think the Kikuchi score helps as well. It really gives you as much as you need.

So, yeah. Total 180 on Kai for me, and I expect to be picking up the other three sets over the next few months.

Well, I finally got my hands on the Chōgashū! I went to Kinokuniya thinking I probably wasn't gonna find it. I know it's listed as "sold out" on various websites. But yea, there it was just sitting there...

I know I've heard people say this before but, this book is friggin awesome! It's really well put together, I really like the outer box thing. I put up some scans on my Twitter but, for those who aren't in that circle...

This is the actual book cover...

The back of the book...

And this is the dust jacket cover...

Recently got a raise at work. Saw how much I ended up with at the end of the month today and decided "F*ck it," and bought the remaining three sets of Kai Blu-rays all at once, free of guilt.

This just arrived. Pretty cheap but it's actually really nice. Not convinced the picture does it justice, makes his face look really dark but heyho, you get the idea!

I'm sorry. Lol, nah enjoy it, it's not as bad as people make it out to be. Burst Limit was my first... and I liked it. Curious as to why buy a PS3 this late in the game with PS4 around the corner.

PSsh. Don't buy the PS4 for 1 - 2 years. So more games will be out and plus they're still going make PS3 games for the next year. It'll be smarter to wait.

Didn't plan on buying PS4 at release. If it'll be anything like how when PS3 was released, I'm gonna wait until they work the kinks out. I'll wait till versus 13 (FFXV) comes out, then make my move.

On the day that game is released, there will either be much rejoicing or weeping and gnashing of teeth. Not sure which yet.
