Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

Normal parents wouldn't let Bra talk the them like that but once again I see her and Vegito having that type of relation ship. As long as she doesn't step to far out of line Vegito lets her talk the way she wants.

God, I hope that Bra got her ass kicked, and that's why she's pissed.

Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Omegalucas is right, it's all about the translation: in the original French text, the insult doesn't go as far as "dickhead", it's more of a word to define someone that annoys you for being dumb/clumsy, similarly to saying "you're really a pain!".
"Boulet" is definately something you could hear a child say to their parents, and although parents would definately reply "watch your tongue!", it's nowhere near as offending as a direct insult and would not cause the kid direct punishment.
However, her previous "Sale enfoiré !" would definately be a direct insult (equivalent to "You son of a bitch!") that wouldn't sit well with most parents.

Next thing you know, XXI is Baby Janemba.
Plot-twist of the whole series.
thatsaiyanuluv
massive build up to the fight....
it lasted two pages.
Made my day. The fans are pissed. It's a nice way to make Vegetto lose.

While all of the missed fights would have been nice to see, I was looking forward to Bra. vs. Eleim in particular. I really want to see one of the Helior dudes go all out; sounds like they have a lot of counter-strategies but so far all of their opponents have been either too strong or too weak. I think one of them would be a nice match for someone like Cell who's strong but not Super Buu/Bra strong.
That's perfectly within Bardock's personality, though. He legitimately doesn't care about the other participants, nor does he have a reason to.dbzfan7 wrote:Bardock just foresaw a doomsday moment and doesn't do anything annoys me. Make him try and do something.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Why would you want to see it then? It would probably just be Bra sneezing on him and him exploding.AquaTeamV3 wrote:While all of the missed fights would have been nice to see, I was looking forward to Bra. vs. Eleim in particular. How? He saw a threat to the multi-verse that will get him killed, and he is okay with that.AquaTeamV3 wrote:That's perfectly within Bardock's personality, though. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Buu wrecked Xeniloum but it was still an interesting read because you got to see what he was capable of. Bra may be stronger than Eleim, but the Helior guys have techniques that could take her out if she was caught off guard or something. Looking at Eleim's last fight he probably wouldn't have tried to kill her despite having the potential to. He seemed to have a moral code (he started out being okay with killing #16 since he was a robot, but even later reneged on that).DNA wrote:Why would you want to see it then? Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Call Zen Buu? Tell the Vargas to send him back...?
As for things I still want to see:
*I want to know more about Zen Buu.
*I want to know what happened to Cooler and Cold in the Bardock and Super Saiyan universes.
*Where did King Piccolo come from?
*I want to see Zen Buu lay a major beatdown on Vegetto.
*I want to see how the humans handled Cooler and Gero (I will call major bullshit when they beat Dabura, you better believe it)

Sorry guy, I simply can't feel any interest towards these high tech Saint Seiya wannabees. They feel so out of place in the Dragon Universe.

He could tell Vegetto who should be able to read his mind (Goku could on Namek) to clarify.DNA wrote: Dude, what could he even do against Vegetto? Get killed instantly?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
In the anime Goku actually hit Gohan to bring him to his senses when the brat wanted to go get reckless and try to help Piccolo when Cell nearly killed him after being told multiple times to keep his cool. Also Goku scolded his son when he refused to leave namek after he turned SSJ.testing223 wrote:Saiyans do things differently than desperate humans.TheMightyOzaru wrote:If my son called me a Bastard I would definitely slap him.
I mean, I guess those are different situations than the one here but the point still stands that even Goku will discipline his children when need be.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

No worse than...
Vegetto: Bra you have to control your anger.
Bra: Fuck you. (brutally murders someone after not controlling her anger)
Vegetto: Good job Bra.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
@RandomGuy96 I don't think Bra is pissed because she lost. She's probably pissed because she only beat her enemy into a coma rather than killing him, but Vegetto wasn't around to praise her for it.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Yeah, most likely. Though, like I said: her losing is what I hoped.
