It doesn't matter what type of game it is. A video game is still a video game, and frivolous content and fan service should never take priority over the gameplay. When that happens, we get mediocre titles like the Spike releases from the past few years. What is the point of gushing over a buttload of transformations and characters when you can't even play them properly because the game is barely functional? Especially since we've pretty much gotten past the pizzazz and thrills of having certain characters appear in previous games already, and there isn't that much to be excited over anymore.Wobbuffet wrote:Heck, this is an anime game. If we only had like 30-40 characters, I honestly wouldn't give a damn so long as they used that time to actually make everything else work properly first. I'm fed up with sugarcoated trash. It's time to have something really fun and polished to play, even if it's at the cost of content(which would surely be added in a potential sequel since they would be finished with the game's engine and such already).
