Do you think the Dragonball anime is underrated?

Of course it's underated, in fact I don't think many people outside the fandom know that 153 episodes happened between Freeza destroying Planet Vegeta and Raditz arriving on earth...

I happen to run an Original Dragonball fanclub on DeviantART and I see a lot of DBZ/GT fanart posted onto it despite my club's rules saying "This Group is dedicated to the Original Dragonball only, please post original DB fanarts" about all over the place.

I really wish those people could watch those 153 episodes, the TRUE past of the Z-warriors.The humans are my favourite characters and these people do not know that they were once useful and not just "That guy who was killed by a Saibaman/Nappa/Freeza/Majin Buu"

THANK YOU! I bet a lot of people don't even know Piccolo was evil and just guess he was Goku's rival. I wish people would watch to see how everyone met. How the hell are you not confused watching DBZ!?
"KRILLIN HAS ALREADY BEEN BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE BY SHENRON! HE CANT COME BACK" or something similar Goku said. How the hell you suppose to know he died already if you didn't watch DB =/. I bet some people just ignore Namek Arc and said Namek's Dragon brought him back to life lol.

THANK YOU! I bet a lot of people don't even know Piccolo was evil and just guess he was Goku's rival.

To be fair, he said that he would kill Goku quite a few times early on, enjoyed it when he finally did kill him, and he also told Gohan he was his father's enemy. Not to mention everyone's reaction to seeing him at Roshi's house, and Kami's quote saying he's not AS evil anymore. I don't think that it's too hard to figure out that he was a pretty bad guy.

He could have been a rival that say he'll kill them. A lot of shows with rivals do that. For everyone's reaction and Kami saying he's not as evil. He could have been a badass who's Stone Cold .
