As long as you keep one foot firmly in reality it won't lead to anything serious. It's like people who think you will turn into a raging psychopath if you play violent violent video games. Humans are perverted by nature, it's why all this stuff exists in the first place.

Re: Sexy Fan Art Thread (No porn!)
Nooo, people look at perverted things and wank because they're feeling, you know, turned on. Horny. Sexual. I would play violent games not because I'm angry or violent, but to have fun. I might play GTA and go on a killing spree there. Would that mean I'm angry? Not at all broringworm128 wrote: It's like people who think you will turn into a raging psychopath if you play violent violent video games.

So...at one point (and possibly still today) you were turned on by hentai? So wouldn't understand why people like this stuff if at one point in time you did as well? Perhaps I'm not following correctly.Dr. Machismo wrote: I used to look at hentai (and other porn) practically all the time. I've been fighting my perversion for a long time, but perversion probably can still do the thing on me.
I don't see why this a supposedly terrible comparison. I was suggesting that if someone can have an emotional connection to what is essentially drawings on paper, then why is so outlandish if someone can have a sexual reaction to a drawing. I mean, I'm sure when we see a pair of drawn titties, our brains recognize them as breasts; despite the fact that we know they aren't real.Dr. Machismo wrote:BECAUSE GETTING TURNED ON AND FEELING SAD ARE TOTALLY THE SAME THING, RIGHT?I don't see why someone would feel sad over the death of a cartoon character. Also, sorry if I came off rude in that post earlier. Twas merely trying to make a point, albeit without proper explanation. ^.^''

Re: Sexy Fan Art Thread (No porn!)
Maybe I worded it badly. I probably would understand why people would look at hentai, but the fact that it's not real eventually kills the experience. At least for me. Maybe it works for me because I kept thinking to myself "Don't do, dude. They're not real. They're not real". But really, if they're not real, why get turned on?So...at one point (and possibly still today) you were turned on by hentai? So wouldn't understand why people like this stuff if at one point in time you did as well? Perhaps I'm not following correctly.

I know that these days we throw the word "troll" at every little thing, but Dr. Machismo is actually being the truest definition on form:
!) Going to an established topic (In this case, sexy DBZ fan art)
and
2) Knowing where he or she is, derails the tread by being anti whatever the topic is (Anti sexy fan art)
Let's not feed him.

lol I'm just expressing my opinion bruh. I don't mean to troll you guys, but I'm just saying that I don't see the appeal in hentai. Just tell me ... why get turned on by something that's not real? Wouldn't the fact that it's not real be a turnoff?
I don't mean to kill the thread. Keep the pics going, idc. Also, since we're on the subject of hentai, anyone know Takimoto Dojo? I used to look at hentai as we know, and I have to say, his work was probably the best in DB hentai.

There's not really a difference between being turned on by a drawing or a real person, other than you obviously can't have a relationship or sex with a drawing but it's not like you would be able to with 95% of the people you see in real-life anyway, because they wouldn't want you, are married etc.

Re: Sexy Fan Art Thread (No porn!)
Hentai is obviously attractive to you since you find it attractive at first. Whether you try block it out by saying it's not real is irrelevant, for you see, some people don't care whether it's real or not.
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

why wouldn't you care if it's real or not? for me, the thought that it's not real makes it kinda like i'm just staring at paper. we all got diff opinions, but can someone tell me WHY you wouldn't care if it's real?

What's wrong with the bolded part? Did you read the whole post? I don't think I said anything weird...
But whatever, different strokes for different folks. For me it's the same image all the same. And drawings can have beautiful character designs and styles that aren't possible in real-life.

Re: Sexy Fan Art Thread (No porn!)
Perhaps that's a question you should ask yourself. If your claim to have indulged it in the past is true than surely it's not an answer that would come hard for you, through a little self-reflection. It's sounding a lot like you're in denial though.Dr. Machismo wrote: why wouldn't you care if it's real or not? for me, the thought that it's not real makes it kinda like i'm just staring at paper. we all got diff opinions, but can someone tell me WHY you wouldn't care if it's real?
Re: Sexy Fan Art Thread (No porn!)
Hey, why do you get turned on by porn videos? They're just digital data and no real women!![/sarcasm]
This discussion is obviously off-topic because this thread isn't for hentai stuff. It's for sexy stuff that can somewhat offend people on the official fan works thread, and porns are NOT allowed due to Kanzenshuu's rules. It's up to you whether you consider these as porns and fap to them, though. Read the title before you throw in an unrelated topic, please.
I want just sexy pics here, not a silly discussion.

Re: Sexy Fan Art Thread (No porn!)
Dude, the whole concept of eroticism is getting turned on by things you can't have. If you can't get turned on by drawings because they're not real, why would you get turned on by magazines or pornographic movies? They're not real, right? Or what about strippers? Sure, they're real, but you can't really do anything about it, why would you get turned on by it? You just open yourself to a panoply of concepts that delve in the deepest parts of our psyche. There has been drawn porn since earlier times of man.
Furthermore, from what I gather, it's not that you don't understand the concept, it's more that you are denying yourself the pleasure of it because you feel it's wrong and queer. Why do you feel that? Because society tells you so? Who's to say society knows what's best for you? Society is a bunch of general rules that everyone accepts in order to live in a semblance of harmony, even though it doesn't really work for the most part. The problem lays with the fact that societies keep getting bigger and bigger which means there are more people with different tastes so they tend to separate and congregate into smaller groups, into "micro-societies" within the larger one. Groups that share the same tastes. Now we are borderline globalized, nations are losing their meaning, so we congregate on the internet in smaller groups, like us!
We, Kanzenshuu, are a global "society", joined by our common interest, Dragon Ball; and even then we separate into smaller groups, those who enjoy the games, and the fan stuff and whatnot. But whatever we do, we have no right no judge the others for their tastes. It's the differences that make the gene pool keep going, if we stagnate, we become extinct.
Now I'm straying way far from the main discussion, thing is, one of the things we, as humans, can all agree on is the concept of eroticism. Sure, there are different kinks that work on each individual but it doesn't matter where they come from, the idea is there and we use our imagination to do the rest. Evolution gave us a powerful brain, so we have a powerful imagination, we don't need much to get us going.
As a psychologist, let me tell you that suppressing your stimulus is not good in the long run, humans tend to eventually crack and when they do, it's much, much worse.
That being said, either enjoy the toon porn or leave the thread and let us enjoy it.

Denial? I mean, well, I used to be a huge pervert ... and I wanted to lose all the perversion. So, I've been trying to destroy my perversion. **** perversion.Perhaps that's a question you should ask yourself. Yup, that's called denial bro. I feel no shame in perversion, everyone has it, some people bury it the fuck down because "it's wrong". It isn't, it's natural.Dr. Machismo wrote:Denial? Honestly, there's nothing good about porn. Sure, it may feel good for a while, but it just feels like a waste of time.
It's how you act about your perversion that might be wrong. Emphasis on the might.

Re: Sexy Fan Art Thread (No porn!)
Didn't read your last post. My bad.
Anyway, yes, I go against my perversion because I feel it is wrong. It's not because of society. In fact, society doesn't even seem to have much of a problem with perversion. I mean, I'm not talking about rapists, but like, you know, casual sex and stuff like that. Perversion might feel good, but at the same time, for me, it just feels wrong. It's not something I want to identify myself with. I don't see why I should be comfortable giving into perversion. I have strong beliefs, dude.
Romance is the thing to be interested in.

Society molds your way of thinking, either you notice it or not. Romance and perversion aren't things you have to choose from. You can be romantic and still have your little kinks inside, it's perfectly healthy.Dr. Machismo wrote:Didn't read your last post. My bad.

Now, you say you don't see why you should be comfortable with "giving into perversion". I don't see why you should feel uncomfortable, or even why you feel you're "giving in". You should be comfortable with whatever you are and feel, instead of feeling wrong about yourself. Having strong beliefs has nothing to do with it.
As you can see, I have a strong belief that you should be yourself and not try to forcefully change what you are. It's how you act about your perversion that counts.

Dude, I strongly dislike perversion. Honestly, dude, when I see a hot girl ending up being a whore, I'd get disgusted and disappointed. Are you saying that deep down ... I'm a pervert? Well, maybe, but I'll change that.
Anyway, carry on with your thread.
