Ways of discovering if Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 features Kenji Yamamoto's RB2 soundtrack, or BT2's score:

1) Ask the seller to check if the opening music is vocal (Original Music) or instrumental (BT2).
2) Ask which year the product was bought, 2010 (Original Music) or 2011 (instrumental)-
3) Buy the Limited Edition Raging Blast 2.
4) Take your chances, buy it, try it and if it isn't the music you wanted, return it.

Thought I'd put this out here, as it's useful to know when RB2 contains which soundtrack. It won't be easy now but I'm going to try and get myself RB2 with Yamamoto's score.

Does the reissue have a different serial number, or ASIN?

It's funny, I just picked up a used copy of the game today at GameStop for PS3, and much to my surprise, it features the original Yamamoto score :o . I totally wasn't expecting that, but it's pretty sweet luck.

Just got the game the other day, it has the BT2 score not that it really matters to me, but my question is how do you beat the Ultimate missions in Galaxy Mode. I have unlocked Goku vs. Vegeta, Freeza, Cell, Buu & Broly, Cell Games Gohan vs. Nappa, Dodoria, Recoome, Artificial Human 19 & Buu, Yamcha vs. Cell Jr. & Dr. Gero & Vegeta vs. Bardock, Tullece, Tarble, Broly & Goku. I also unlocked Tenshinhan vs. Goku, but that one was easy. How would I beat the other ones? Are there certain items I need?

EDIT: Scratch that I actually used some of the items I unlocked and they helped a lot. I am loving the game so far.

You have to look up which guys are connected in Galaxy Mission and beat their missions respectively, the Ultimate missions are team battles, so with all character connection done, it will unlock itself :)

I really want the original Yamamoto score with RB2. It was the music that was meant to go with RB2. Its gonna be a pain to hunt down a 2010 version of the game in 2013 though...

I got my prescandal copy of ebay. It works fine. Just ask questions that only the pre scandal copies can have. TBH I don't like the RB2 soundtrack and I think it sucks (I only really like 2 songs).

I'm playing the game with Kikuchi ost nowadays, but I was really impressed by Yamamoto there. I think he really did some good music for RB2, lot of catchy parts and I remember that I was surprised to learn that it was done by him.
I can't really stand BT3 OST or Yamamoto's Burst Limit, sounds like castrated music of Metallica on drugs.

I like a few songs of Burst Limit but that's it. I only like Gallant and Battle of Omega from RB2, everything else I don't like. I think RB1 had a much better soundtrack. Ultimate Tenkaichi had a better soundtrack than RB2.

I wanted to get the original copy for collecting purposes and because the fact I own T2, but I kinda regret it as T2 had a much better soundtrack than RB2.

The only complaint that I could give with this game was I hated that on some of the battles, they made it to where you had to beat an opponent by a specific time frame with Raging Soul and you couldn't use any attacks. Or like when they had you start off at near death. These battles were the most annoying/frustrating to go through.

The Raging Soul battles shouldn't be an issue if you know how to perform the combo strings properly, since the AI is pretty much watered down for those types of battles. As for the near-death battles, you get items to counteract that effect, though, they don't work sometimes.

Also, why are all the help threads unpinned, all of a sudden?
