I disagree immensely. RB2's is probably the best soundtrack I've listened to.

Yeah, I think RB1 only had a couple decent tracks: Hot Feeling, Raging Blast and Final Confrontation were the only tracks that I genuinely remember

RB2 on the other hand: Force of Justice, Gallant, Solider's Sorrow, Critical Power, Anthem of Lives, Nose to Tail - All great (Though this could be influenced by me playing the game constantly, I don't find I need to use a custom soundtrack, the tracks suit the various fights from the show quite well in areas.)

I'm looking forward to the 5th though, hopefully they have some real great stuff to throw in, I wonder what Treevax will make of everything.

Weren't there two different Raging Blast 2 soundtracks? My copy has the same music as Tenkaichi 2, but I heard that there was another version.

I disagree. RB1's score was pretty bland, uninteresting and repetitive, only a few were very good. As for RB2 it's pretty much the entire soundtrack, and this is one of the DBZ games which I don't mind listening to its original international music 'cos it doesn't suck.

You have the 2011 edition which has Tenkaichi 2's soundtrack, this is the only difference because everything else is the same, that I remember.

It took me a while to hunt down RB2 with the original music but it was worth it.

Yes, the composer for the games up until now had been caught - He plagarised a lot of work, the soundtracks we come to love are all taken without permission from other artists!

Some examples:

Budokai - Challengers = Stratovarius Hunting High and Low
Raging Blast2 - Rivals(intro) = Nickelback Burn it to the Ground
Budokai 3 - Ultimatum = Distrubed The Game

Go to the music section of the forums... trust me we all know. But I agree, RB1's OST was whack. RB2 killed, that's one of the things I was excited about when I was still anticipating it's release. I had the demo, and the music was great.

Based on the Trailer's BGM it seems to be catchy (thus far good) but until there's gameplay videos we won't know for sure.

Agreed. Yamamoto actually put me on to the originals of some of his songs, and I liked em. Same thing with some of the songs on Kanye's hew 'Yeezus' album, but that's a different story.

Yammamoto is an example that the original are not always better.

It freaking DOES. If all the Dragon Ball characters (except for some existing parodies of course) and the entire story I love were blatant rip-offs like Yamashit's music, I'd definitely stop being a DB fan. I used to be a fan of Yamamoto, and I was really shocked and felt that I was betrayed when I noticed all the pieces I loved were not his own creations. Now none of his pieces sound "awesome" to me at all. I feel really relieved that he's gone from the DB franchise forever and new video games like this won't have rip-off music. I'd prefer something original over plagiarized stuff even if the latter was "better".

TheGmGoken wrote:Yamamoto is an example that the original are not always better.
It's far easier to make something already existing "better" because you don't have to create anything from scratch, which is the toughest part of creation in general. I think nothing from him is better than the original, though.

You felt betrayed? No offence but you're being over dramatic. Just because they're rips doesn't affect the quality. Regardless it still good music. It's just not original.

I can't be insensitive enough to enjoy a creation without its background and creator in mind. Can you still enjoy meat dishes at your favorite restaurant after knowing the cook is Hannibal Lecter? The dishes themselves must be still tasty, but hey... It's basically the same story.

So is it likely "Episode of Bardock" will be covered in this? As I'd kind of like to do a 4 vs 4 battle of 4 super saiyans vs Frieza , King cold , Cooler and Chilled. I might be in the minority of that though :D

I hope the life bars are actually bars ,not numbers like in dbz ut and kinect Dragon Ball Z.
And proper ki "BARS" should be utilized. I don't care if the life bars use a lot of space (although the raging blast games' bars were quite small) I just want a VISUAL representation of my fighter's health.

I wonder if we will be able to switch between our fighters during fights, I don't want to be stuck with krillin when I have goku, vegeta, and ssj gohan (just examples, don't think otherwise.....). :?: :?: :?:

I WANT MORE FREEDOM IN THIS GAME!!! :D
Someone hit me up when Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu :lolno:, Goten, Buu, and Gohan :!: :!: :!: become relevant again :?

If it's anything like Legends, then switching between characters shouldn't be an issue. My thing is, free roaming. In the trailer we see Goku flying around what seems to be a huge map, that looked awesome. I hope we can lock off like in BT1 and 2, and just roam.

We saw the same thing on the very first Ultimate Tenkaichi's teaser, and look at what it became -__-

Agreed. Didn't really see why they went numeric with the lives of the characters than actual life bars, kinda stupid but whatever.

On Tenkaichi Tag Team you're permitted to switch opponents though as for the second picked characters, I can't remember clearly.

Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi trailer was pretty much spot-on with everything the game had to offer so they didn't really falsely advertised it. It just happens that the game's gameplay was worse than what was shown.

Free roaming in UT had absolutely nothing to offer unless random battles and despite that in Tenkaichi 2 you couldn't go around the cities because of the invisible walls, it allowed to walk around a bit which was kinda cool.
