Someone provide an endless supply of whiskey, and I'll get right on that.
I would also very much enjoy a "Rock the Dragon Commentary of Awesomeness"!

At around 18:50, Brian Drummond mentions his first encounter with Attitudefan at the gym. As I was first watching this I knew exactly who he was referring to. The way he portrays Attitudefan is kind of funny.

I'm not sure if it's worth judging his off the cuff Vegeta voice, but it was lower and rougher than before. It's quite interesting. Nice find!

I didn't hear that at the 18:50 part. What part of the video did you hear him do his Vegeta voice?

By 22:29. Someone asks him what Vegeta's reaction would be to bronies.

If you go to FUNimation's http://www.dragonballz.com, the entire top half of the page features the "Rock the Dragon" DVD Set.

Now I'm more or less imagining MasakoX's Goku talking someone's ear off about ponies.

Really wish they hadn't gone with this style of packaging. Wastes a lot of shelf space.

Still buying it though.

Hmm maybe I'll take the discs and put them in a 8 disc dvd case then sell the book and box as a replacement

Edited movie 3 confirmed by FUNimation at AX according to people on twitter. In fact, all 3 of the movies are the edited versions.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Cool. Well, at least I still own the uncut versions on DVD from Pioneer.

Wai-wai-wait........all three are edited?

I didn't know that Movie 1 or 2 even had an edited release.
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

That seems odd. Only edited releases were the toonami broadcasts. With movie 1, for some reason they cut out the part before the theme song, though repeats like episodes they did left it in. Other than that, it just took out the scene of Gohan relieving himself on Krillin, and the few "Hells" mentioned. Movie 2 just took out the scene of Oolong thinking of panties, and the few "Damns!" and "What the hells!"

Well, there goes the one small aspect of this set I had any interest in.

Woulda been cool to have Tree of might as the Mini-saga it was when it was first shown on TV :D I wished I recorded it

But I understand it's a "toonami" edition DVD set

If it's the TV version, how come I heard Kikuchi music in the trailer for a clip of Tree of Might?

I think you can get the individual discs from Amazon significantly cheaper. Why would you buy an expensive set for three movies?

I'm feeling the same way. I was hoping that this would be an overpriced opportunity for me to get new DVDs of the first three DBZ movies. I think I'll just stick to what I already have, then. Sorry, FUNimation, but it looks like I'll be skipping this one.
