Goku's only a couple years younger than Bulma, and when DragonBall first starts, he's not even HALF her height! I don't think it's too important to dwell on age relating to appearance. But if you want to, I think young Goku is a bigger deal than Bra.

And the same goes for Krillin, at 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai he is 16 and still much smaller than Goku.

And if GT is really 10 years after Z, Bra has no problems with her age, Pan does. If she is really 14, she is not developed at all, 12 year old ChiChi i s much more developed.

Well not so much, but her skanky outfit makes it appear that way. I don't think Mr. Toriyama kept very good track of the ages in Dragonball and I'm not sure but I think I read once in his Q and A section, when somebody asked him the ages during the 22 TB he told them to do the math themselves based on the ages from the first tournament.

Which tells us, boys and girls, that since GT has no manga, the Perfect Files are the absolute authority on GT. So guess what? Pan should be around 9 (Because she was 4 during the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai) and Bra should be around 8/10 (Because she was 3, or if you go with she was 5, at the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai)

Actually, I think I remember now; it was silent in the Italian version, but the Japanese I'm not sure of, as I've never seen the Japanese episode 1 of GT.

Well, guess who's going to go renting off Netflix! (Even if this is resolved before I get my dvd. )

Actually, while watching the Ocean dub, I realized there couldn't have been a narrative line like this at the beginning, but at about seven minutes into the episode, Goku says, "Thanks guys, but I have a wife to get home to. I haven't been home in so many years. Chichi's going to be really mad a me." I only recall Goku saying in the Funimation dub something similar to, "... A very angry wife who probably wants to kill me..."

So yeah, at least one of the dubs would have mentioned there was a ten year gap if the Japanese version did, so yeah. I guess it's not ten years after Z. That's kind of eerie to me. For so long I've believed that Pan was 4 in Z, then 14 in GT, and 114 as a grandmother, even though I knew that wouldn't have fit anyway.

I forgot to mention Chi Chi though, who was about Goku's height too. but I didn't know how old she was supposed to be, to judge whether her appearance is kind of "off" too.
