Sigh... Why did Sean say that Ally to good, nightmare to you line was one of his favorites?

For the fans maybe? Or maybe he just gets asked to do it so much, he enjoys giving a bit of a speech. Maybe it's one of those few old dub lines he still enjoys (since he often talks about why he prefers Kai over Z).

Here's a showcase of all the Dragon Ball cosplayers I came across at Animazement.

Glad to see it's still thriving at conventions, and especially at this one.

It's been a while since the convention, but Kanzenshuu just got a shout-out on Animazement's facebook page! :)

For a guy who says he knows Goku, it's not a Goku line. It's a Superman line at it's worst. I think Superman would even be embarrassed to say that line.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Like I said, he might have said it was his favorite because he likes seeing fans' faces light up. I've heard him talk at several cons via videos, and I do think he knows Goku quite well. It was his idea to fix the Kaio-Ken pronunciation and to add the "Son Goku" during the Kai version of that scene (in fact, that was never scripted, he just gave his best performance on the take he added it, and they kept it).

Maybe it just gave him a bit of nostalgia for his early career, who knows (I know they would have enjoyed doing the driving episode again).

Here are the closing ceremonies:

http://thedaoofdragonball.com/blog/inte ... eremonies/

A little belated, but hey.

I guess nobody recorded the Sean Schemmel panel, so that one is lost to history. If it ever shows up, then let me know and I'll transcribe it.

A fun bonus! Here are some oddly lit and poorly taken photographs of Mike and I. :)

Thanks, Kanzenshuu peoples. It was a blast.

Sean asked that nobody record so he could talk more freely and not worry about stuff he says getting posted everywhere and he felt being "camera free" generally facilitated a better free flow of questions and conversation between he and the audience.

The staff at the convention liked our costumes and so remebered seeing us first at just about every panel and waiting hours before the "East Meets West Panel." However we all lost the "rock paper scissors" contest for getting stuff signed there at that panel...but two other cosplayers who won and already had there stuff signed gave me and "Mr. Satan" their spot cuz we had become friends waiting in line plus we looked completely down trodden lol! So having told the staff this story at the "Suggestions and Complaints forum" a head lady came by and found me in line. She had remembered seeing all of us and felt terrible and made sure that my friends (Buu and Videl) would def get their stuff signed. That made my day so I was gonna leave and camp out for the "We Are Goku Panel" again well in advance. [afterall we only came for Dragon Ball]. After I told her this she was still like no you still got here first and got screwed yesterday...so she radioed one of the staff to stand in my place and get that scroll signed while I saved a spot for my friends and myself for the "We Are Goku Panel"!! a good attitude goes a long way, not only did my friends get their stuff signed, I got scroll AND we got front row seats to the panel. Luck is preparation meets opportunity, we were def lucky :D

Note: before there is any rage I was not included in the 100 person cut off nor another person who a staff stood in line for

Another feel good story: a guy I had made friends with was unable to get Sean Scemmel's signature for his bro in the Navy. Videl having gotten all the signatures on a poster now had an extra Sean autograph on her program so she gave it to that guy. Paying it forward

That's awesome! That's one hell of a first convention for you, isn't it? :D Most of the other Kanzenshuu gang had a similar "good karma" experience. I don't think either of us won the Rock, Paper, Scissors match and we didn't cheat and go up to try and get an autograph like it seemed so many others did. Regardless we all stuck around in the room just to be in the presence of greatness. Since we stuck around till the very end we got the chance to just walk up to some of them and ask for autographs and pictures! Being in that room 10 feet from such amazing voice actors along with hanging out with fellow Kanzenshuuers was the highlight of the con for me.

I saw y'all's group photo! I wish we had stuck around and gotten in on it. Truth be known Videl and Boo were super supportive of us getting spots but too peeved to stick around after the whole "contest" debacle so we left right after we collected our signatures. Still wish I'd stuck around but I did get a sweet pic with Mike LaBrie!

Haha no way, without you and your wonderful website (and crew who all contribute, I haven't forgotten Merri, Julian, etc. I've been catching up on podcasts y'all make my drive to work really enjoyable) none of it would have been possible! Kanzenshuu is the only reason my friends and I knew about Animazement and who was gonna be there! So please keep on being amazing

As an aside another person who is a Kanzenshuu member got a pic with the whole Japanese cast there, except for Masako Nozawa, when he was coming off the elevator. I hope he sees this and posts about it, I liked his story and pic.
