Just as bad as I thought it would be. Impressive animation aside, everything about this project just reeks of whatever sounded cool to the team. The transformation designs are way too inconsistent, villains like Broly and Buu are back which is just idiotic not to mention impossible with manga canon. I have seen pictures this guy has drawn that say Uub Kaioken 10,000, Goku Cyan SSJ, none of this stuff makes any sense. Not to mention they fused out world with the DBZ world, putting South America in there. I cant believe people love this show and have the gall to say he should take over DBZ.

I honestly just admire the style of it, meaning the color usage and choreographed fighting. It's a nice look, even though the character drawings themselves are... meh. Just bulky with off proportions.

Fifthteen, even 10 years ago, this guy would have been a god among us. I think deep down we all know that as kids, Absalon would've shook us to the core.but the fandom's aged, and seeing a bunch of Super Saiyans and Goku with Blue hair isn't going to do it for us anymore.

well some of us. The creator is a god to the current generation of up and comers to DBZ, according to the comments so good for him.

We all were stupid kids once. Dragonball just came to us when we were at that age. Looking back at the old DBZ dub, I cant stand it. The horrible voice acting then was just AWFUl. The only guys who sounded even remotely good to me were Perfect Form Cell and Super Buu (plus absorptions).

Is there a point for an episode 2 thread. We have another thread labelled episode 1 that may as well be used instead.

Pretty sure I heard a happy wheels sound effect at one point as well. Might just be my imagination.

Something tells me that "bullshit" line was only put in to try and make it seem "adult".

Here are some funny comments.
You should work for toeinanimation
this is better than the real one but a little short
First off, best opening scene in the history of anime

And some utubers wonder why I mention Kanzenshuu as a better place to converse than in the youtube videos. This is why. Idiotic fans who claim they are hardcore and know everything when they clearly don't. I still learn something new every day. These people think they are god. If they actually understood the series, they would know what's wrong with this. But they seem to be into the stereotypes than the actual series.

1. Not me.
2. Not me. Didn't have cable or internet until I was 14. I just turned 21 yesterday...
3. Just meh. Its gotten better with time...and they STILL milk it and try to improve it.

Things I liked

1. The fight between Goten and the bad guy was pretty cool.

2. These aliens seem to be artificial Saiyans or something, injecting Saiyan Brad into their dna like the T-Virus or the Ganados parasite.Thats sort of an interesting concept.

Disliked

The dialog was eh, typical anime talk . Oob's entrance screamed cliche.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Eh, the animation is good but the series just reeks of fan ideas that seem like they came from a middle-schooler. Villains re-appearing for no good reason, unnecessary new transformations, OP power creep...just doing too much. I did like a couple of concepts though, like Goten's Flame Kamehameha and the Saiyans injecting themselves to go Oozaru. The latter made me think of DBM's U13 Raditz but executed differently.

I thought it was pretty cool. There was some nice animation here and there.
While not everything in it is perfect I do appreciate the hard work he's putting in. I think he does have a genuine love of the TV series.

Yeah it's very action heavy but I don't see that as a problem. We all like different things about the TV show. Then we all come together and discuss them here. That's just part of being a fan. If everyone liked and disliked the same things about the show then there wouldn't be much of a forum. ;)
I get the impression that some are judging him based on silly Youtube comments which isn't really fair.

Some of the character designs are rather odd looking (Pan) but I can get over that.
Oh and he really needs to get a grip of the audio. The dialog is too low and the music is far too loud.

Gohan I thought was pretty spot on from what we saw of him.
His doubts about his own abilities are what makes him interesting as a character for me. Unlike his Dad he has human thoughts and fears.
Dendes voice in episode 1 was neat. He reminded me a lot of Liam O'Brien.
I did like the Oozaru at the end though. Hard to tell but I could have sworn it was golden.

As has been stated though some of the Youtube comments are hilariously absurd. :D
Still If this helps create buzz and a few more fans for the show I'm happy.
Too bad he's not a member here. I'm sure we could help him out.

I wanna know why this episode took as long as it did. It was just primarily fighting, no real story whatsoever.
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

Even with its flaws, Dragon Ball Multiverse is so much better than this... thing...
