How strong is Grey Buu?

So? Ki sensing from the Kaioshin realm is notoriously unreliable in this arc. And like Ozaru said, we don't actually see the reactions of Piccolo and the others. So who else is there? Tien and Chiaotzu, I guess, but we don't see them either.

Umm, no we don't even see anyone react until Evil Buu is formed. We cannot claim no one sensed Pure Evil Buu from the Kaioshin realm.

It wouldn't matter anyway. Seeing as nobody except Buu sensed Gohan from the Kaioshin realm, yet they sensed Goku, it's inconsistent.

It was actually the narrator who was explaining what happened.

Exactly. Fat Buu at the point of splitting ( more or less what he showed against Goku ) splits into two beings Evil and Good Buu. The power of Fat being divided by the two.

Only Super Buu gets the Kaioshin realm treatment and for good reason imo.

Except the "Kaioshin Realm treatment" is hugely inconsistent. Everyone was blown away by Goku, yet only Buu could sense Gohan. The reaction to Gotenks was "Hey! Look at that!" not, "Holy Shit! What is that power?!?!" Even if Gotenks was, in the most conservative terms I can think of, only twice as strong as Goku, he should have immediately grabbed the attention of everyone on Kaioshin's planet. Yet there's no reaction.

Fat Buu never got mad against Goku, and never powered up. And if Mr. Buu and Gray Buu were so weak, where did the rest of the power go? All the Pure Buu, Daio Kaioshin, and South Kaioshin ki that were in Fat Buu. It had to go somewhere.

I don't think so. They couldn't sense Gohan because they already had such an alarming power right there in front of them. The reason Buu was able to sense Gohan because he was the only one at ease. Everyone else was too busy watching there friends and family get murdered or too concerned for their well being.

Same reason why Piccolo didn't sense the boys full power when they left to attack Buu, he was so overwhelmed with Buu's power it effected his ki sensing abilities.

Going by Buu's smoke as a way to measure his level, it appears that Fat Buu was very close to his ultimate limit against Goku. Not that much smoke came out of his head.

Umm Kaioshin, Gohan, and Kibito weren't looking to sense anything yet they sensed Goku's power. The same applies here. Gohan's power completely overshadows Buu's, they should sense it.

He didn't get mad against Goku. If you want to go by the smoke, look at what came out after Mr. Satan got shot.

Nobody was even trying to sense Goku. His ki just showed up and punched everyone in the face. Gotenks was much stronger, and got no reaction at all. I don't buy the "they were too busy to sense ki" thing. The Earthlings were able to sense Cell approaching while sensing the Piccolo/17 fight.

And again, where did all of Buu's ki go? The Pure Evil and Kaioshin ki? It had to go into one of the Buus, and Gray Buu was pure evil, so no negative Dai Kaioshin influence. He has all the Pure Buu ki, so he should be at least as powerful as Pure Buu.

The only direct evidence we have are their respective fights against Mr. Buu. Gray Buu stomps Mr. Buu much harder and more quickly than Pure Buu does.

All the rest are vague statements that have already been addressed in the last few pages. If you disagree, fine. But don't cite direct evidence when there isn't any.

Yes a Super Saiyan 3 level power can reach out and grab you from Kaioshin's realm. You don't have to focus on it. However, when an equally impressive power is dead in your face, it can block even that power from reaching out and grabbing you.

Grey Boo is stronger then Kid Boo. He stomps Mr. Boo while Kid Boo had to put some effort in.

And if your willing to accept the manga not showing the reaction to Gotenks, then I can say that they reacted when Buu split. The manga just didn't show it.

Pure Buu was just toying with Good Buu IMO. I'd say Pure Evil Buu and Pure Buu are equal.

I think so too, but even so I don't think Grey Boo went all out.
