Keep Goku as an adult.

Have Goku, Trunks, Gohan, and Goten search for the dragon balls in space.

Have Baby kill Vegeta and exile the others while he takes over the world.

The Super 17 arc would be a 35 episodes arc. Goku and his friends battling Freeza, Cell, Zarbon, The Ginyu Force, Nappa, Radtiz, General Blue, etc.
Have the villains learn new tricks while in hell.

I'm one of the few who likes Pan, just like I'm one of the few that likes April on Grey's Anatomy, and DB lacks females so I think she should stay. Plus, the relationship between her and Giru is cute.

Have Piccolo be relevant. His death was the best scene in the whole show, but it came out of nowhere. It would have been so much better if Piccolo had actually done something in GT. Instead, it comes across as them not knowing what to do with the character.

It's a great scene but best in the whole show? Anyway, I do agree that making Piccolo more relevant in the fight against Baby would've been nice.

In all of GT. Although a close contender would be Goku and Krillin in the last episode.

Fair enough. Making better use of characters is something the even Toriyama could've done more of. I would've liked to have seen an adult Gotenks, but I enjoy the close nit family feeling of Trunks, Giru, Pan, and Goku alone. One more person max.

More Goten would have been nice. I don't really get the sense that he and Trunks are close friends in GT.

A large scale battle against all major villains we had so far, that is also Super C13, Cooler, Janemba, Broly (with Broly and his clone wreaking havoc and maybe fusing).

I don't know, I like GT but there are definitely things that might have been fleshed out a little more.

One of the things I would do would be keep Goku as a kid until he reached SSJ4. The sheer power of the form is strong enough to undo simple wishes by The Ultimate Shenlong..After he transforms, he's butt naked but fortunately they had a spare pair clothing in a capsule because they were planning to wish Goku back to adult hood and of corse restore the Earth and such.

Goku being who he is, was gonna go fight Baby in the nude but after a gag scene of Pan being embarrassed by here naked fury Grandpa she unlocks the capsule and hands him his fresh pair of pantaloons right before he goes to finish the fight.

I would also resurrect Piccolo and have everyone take part in fighting the Shadow Dragons.

Reintroduce Lunch for Tien and have the 6 Star Dragon actually be a female and relinquish her Godhood to live with Yamcha lol.

Honestly, I quite like GT the way it is. There would only be few things I'd change.

The entire first 20 or so episodes need completely culling. They're great for introducing Pan and our new Trunks but they do little in terms of entertainment. They could be quite easily condensed down or redone in a way that doesn't make me sit through a subpar retelling of the first Dragon Ball series.

The Baby saga was pretty well done in my eyes, it involved most of the cast and pitted the fighters against each other with fairly high stakes. Made for a very entertaining viewing - however, saying that, there's definitely some issues with it. There were many dramatic themes to explore because of those high stakes and they weren't quite met towards the start of the series where it really should have counted. Trunks really should have had more of a feature in it considering his own father was the main focal point.

Goku's SSJ4 transformation could have been done a lot better, I personally thought. The moment where Pan's tears and voice seem to bring him to his senses just seemed too cheesy for my liking. I would have liked to have had something similar to what Young Dijii did in his AF manga. Having Pan be injured severely to set off an emotional charge in Goku to bring his transformation under control would have suited me better. That way we get an emotional moment in the series without a montage of Goku on a beach.

The presence of Oob - now here's my take on it. I don't mind that he's not featured much in GT. They chose to show him as being inferior to Goku in the very first episode and that's fine. It makes sense in the time frame but I don't think his role should have been entirely useless. I would have liked to have seen him replacing Trunks in the series. We already had our teen/20s Trunks, we didn't really need that again. It would have been an interesting character dynamic to see Goku and Oob's relationship blossom on screen as they were pitted against truly powerful enemies. Even if that wasn't possible, just having his presence actually feel like it was worth a damn would have been quite nice. He pops up and makes efforts to aid Goku but they ultimately fail - which, yeah, it lets them tell Goku's story some more but it would have, like I said, just been nice to see their relationship on screen properly.

Super 17 saga was whatever to me, didn't annoy me, didn't fill me with joy, it was just there and was too short to have any impact. I would rather had the entire thing omitted.

Vegeta's character at this point should have come into full swing. He had a great moment in his dedicated episode about his inferiority complex with Goku. I would have loved to have seen that presented in GT with a new spin. He cares for Earth and he cares for these people so he no longer holds quite the same aristocratic arrogance that he once did. With this, there could have been a much more personal competitive vibe presented rather than the more removed one we saw in Z.

Evil Dragon Saga is pretty much perfect in my eyes. Could have done without the first few boring dragons but from then on, I loved every second of it. Si Xing Long and Goku's moments were fantastic and man, that ending to the series is phenomenal.

But yes, that's about it. The only thing I can think of isn't really a chance but something I wanted to see more of. Piccolo's sacrifice was a moment that could have been great but it lacked any emotional intensity because they totally neglected his character for the entire show until that moment. Gohan should have been there or at least there should have been some more references to the bond they have - some kind of profound statement at the very least. He sorta just...popped off to die without really saying all that much to him.

I very much enjoyed GT, it had its flaws but I still think it has enough positive to stand on its own two feet alongside the other two series.

Well for one I would give him more motives then just Cell's "I wanna blow up the universe " plan. I would make the way he acts and talks more distinct, maybe make him a wise cracker or a more tactical villain. ANYTHING would be better, the problem with Omega is that the only memorable thing about him is the fact he's the strongest and last villain in DB. Butta and Kiwi are more interesting then him.

The wise cracker is cliche as well. Distinct is fine, but seeing as how he was born of the negative energy from the Dragon Balls, it makes perfect sense that he would be pure evil.

You've stated why he wasn't using his all against Baby, but not why he's sapped after a few attacks. I prefer the fights to be fast and brutal like Goku vs. Piccolo or Vegeta.

Granted, GT's fights seemed much..I wanna say slower compared to Z. Maybe its the animation itself, I cant stand GT's animation. It makes everything underwhelmed for the most part, SSJ4 Gogeta's Big Bang Kamehameha being the worst example.
