Good eye, findin that! In my opinion, it's not quite as good as most intros for DBZ games are. Ones in the past get seriously awesome looking new animation... But there have definetly been worse too, so I'm happy.

Is it just my computer or is there no sound in this video?

I couldn't hear anything either, I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Not the best intro I've ever seen. Goku and Vegeta fighting in an opening animation is almost cliche at this point.

That was pretty cheesy. The only thing I liked in the entire opening was Cell, who was friggin awesome.
Hmm, 18's hair was cool. Goku's and Vegeta's both looked to stiff when they went Super Saiyajin. Oh, and Piccolo's attack just sucked.

What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

I liked it, all except for the Special Beam Cannon's animation. Bleh.
I really, really need to get back into the habit of posting.

You folks are so picky.

At this point, just about EVERYTHING we see in the games is cliche when it has something to do with the series.
I thought it was awesome, especially considering it looks almost quite close to Toriyama's art as it could possibly get. Felt like the manga itself had come to life.

This was already available on the arcade version, by the way.

Hmmm, did anyone else think that the SPC looked like a candy corn?

I'd rather have new animation...but I'm happy with this. At least it doesn't look like everyone's made out of jelly like in Sparking's intro.
The manga colors in the backdrop had me thinking it was animated until I saw the 3-D figures come on screen.

Indeed. I still have bad memories from that wacky intro ... Pretty cool Super DragonBall Z is taking its own route in an intro.

I think it was
one of the best openings I have seen so far, in my opinion noting can compare to Budokai 3's opening.

have you seen then?

This opening is probably my second favorite for its attempt on recreating the in manga in cel-shaded 3-D. "DragonBall Z 2" opening being my top favorite.

Aside from the intro (which was alright

), the gameplay looked smooth as hell compared to the other games.
