Exactly. Too much content and 360/PS3's limits are already at the top so they can't put everything in its best.

I wish this game came to Wii U but I'm guessing in 2014 then Namco Bandai will start publishing Dragon Ball games for the Wii U. For the time being Sega's going to release Sonic Lost World and Nintendo's Super Mario 3D World. Two awesome platform games.

Haven't yet played New Super Mario Bros. U completely but so far it's funtastic!

Well so does Zenkai Battle Royale and even though both use different art styles the textures and models in Zenkai seem superior to me, maybe that's like comparing modern art with a sculpture, and the graphics aren't that bad, I just feel they could be better.

We have to remind, that ZBR runs on a different machine than BoZ. If I remember right, the engine for ZBR, which probably also the hardware for arcade TTT2, is more powerful than PS360. ZBR also only features 4 charas onscreen...

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Sorry yeah I should've looked more into Zenkai before (though there isn't much info on it, at least that I can find), I assumed it was an 8 player royale. I'm sure I read somewhere about the hardware Zenkai runs on being similar to the PS3 though...

Same. I could've sworn Zenkai ran on a machine with PS3 level tech.

Yep, game looks like poop. Not too concerned about that though.

The arcade system ZBR runs on is a tad more powerful than the PS3, but apparently games can be ported down from it to the PS3 without too much effort.

Zenkai can run on the 360 as well since Tekken 6 runs on a similar hardware and it was released on the 360.

Raging Blast 1,2 and Burst Limit have better models than this game. Even the Tenkaichi series may look better. That said I really hope they restore offline multi-player as I never really cared about online play in any of the DBZ games as it's way more fun to play locally.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

The graphics look fine to me. I know it's not totally next gen but It'll do. It's kinda like how peace walker was really bad looking on the ps3 but the gameplay was so damn good due to the multiplayer online. This game is going to be amazing! Ahh!

Yeah graphics aren't a huge deal to me, there is only so far a budget can stretch, I think it's the online that'll make or break this game too. So far I don't think we've had a DBZ game with an online mode that overshadows the single-player, but with the focus being on multiplayer online play I'm hoping we can see stuff like leaderboards, achievements, customization, and possibly some kind of ranking system.

Maybe the Wii U too.

BL's graphics are still by far the best for any DBZ game, RB1's pretty good though as for RB2 they're too plasticky and UB's muddy. Tenkaichi were blocky and low quality not to mention they were for the sixth gen consoles which didn't allow to have HD graphics.

The graphics for this game have looked nothing but great, but I haven't played the actual game so it's unfair to say whether they're good or bad.

By the way, can anyone tell me a Dragon Ball game that its online mode didn't suck ass? They were all very mediocre with 1v1 or none. This is the right step for the online gaming future of DBZ.

My experience with Raging Blast 2's online has been fairly solid. I'm sure there are people out there who are bitches that disconnect early, but I've had pretty civil encounters and good fights.

I'd agree about RB2's multiplayer. People rarely disconnect but when it happens you earn the points anyway (given that you play ranked games). It's also a bit surprising to see that after all these years it's still relatively easy to find people to play with.

Neither one of those games allowed 8 character models to be fighting on screen at once during gameplay.
Exactly, current consoles can barely handle games with next to nothing on screen at 30fps let alone a fast paced, high octane fighting game with multiple characters all doing different things around a large map.

You're kidding yourself if you think these graphics look bad with that taken into consideration.

Oh that note, can Japanese developers start giving us PC ports, I would love a buttery smooth 120fps DBZ game.

I take it that I'm the only person looking forward to the game? It seems like we get something new and people always bitch about it. I guess even if we get a game with 100000 characters, people will still bitch about it  . The DBZ fandom in a nut shell :P .

Nah. I may not be SUPER hyped about it, because I think it's best to keep my expectations low so that I'm either not disappointed with it (or parts of it anyway) or pleasantly surprised otherwise, but I am still excited for the game. Not only for the new team gameplay, but also because I want to see what is done with the story and what potential what-ifs might have. They may give me ideas for my own personal take on the series.

Jay, it's hard to know when he's being serious and when he's just trolling. This for example it's obviously an example of him trying to be funny.

Budokai 3 & Infinite World for the PS2 look great but they're both in SD, so they'd still be inferior to this game's graphics due to being in HD.
