I would love Dragon Ball & Lord of the Rings cross-over. Goku Vs Sauron would be good fight.

I think Goku vs. Superman is the crossover that most fans want to see. It would cool if it happen, but most likely never won't. From what I've been told that most American superheros are not very popular in Japan.

Dragon Ball and Soul Eater. Black Star either working with or fighting against Goten & Kid Trunks among other scenarios could be very interesting, to say the least.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

I would like to see a Dragon Ball X One Piece X Naruto special.

I know nothing about YYH, but a battle of the egos between Vegeta and Hiko Seijuro would be great. The rest of the world would implode around them after being subjected to the gravitational force of such a huge influx of hot air.

DBZ/Star Wars/MGS - Big Boss, Goku, and Darth Vader all berate each other about how they are terrible fathers. :p

Goku's not the best father but he's not Vader bad.

You're right, I remember when Goku fought Gohan to the death multiple times, and spent most of his life resenting him until he was on his metaphorical deathbed.

At least Big Boss could be honest about being a deadbeat dad towards his sons. Goku was a hypocrite, and actively put his sons in harm's way (Goten against Fat Buu, when even Big Boss would know is a terrible move, and gave Cell a Senzu)

Goku never tried to kill his own sons. Seriously, this "Goku is an awful dad" nonsense has got to stop.

Most American Super Heroes aren't Superman. Superman's one of the most beloved, well known Super Heroes in history (pretty sure he's either the best known Superhero Worldwide, or up there with Batman for the position). I think Goku vs Superman would work fine.

Hell, Osamu Tezuka (The God of Manga/Godfather of Anime) was made honorary chairman of the Superman Fan Club in Japan due to his love for the character back in the day, and Toriyama even included a parody of Superman in Dr. Slump (not to mention the Saiyan Origin for Goku has a lot of parallels to Superman's Origin).

Pretty sure Superman's fairly well known in Japan (and probably will get even more exposure come the release of "Man of Steel" in Japan).

Akira Toriyama said the same thing. He's a bad father

Toriyama's opinion on his characters is not the end-all be-all.

Besides, where's your source?

Here. Someone said it in a thread with the interview that's on this website. Forgot what topic it was but I remember clearly what he said.

"Goku? Yeah he's not the best father." Something similar to that. Trust me. I'm not that type of fan who fasely say "Akira Troiyama said this and that".

To be fair it's pretty much common dbz knowledge that's Goku is a bad father

You can not be the best dad and still not be a bad dad.

I would still like a source, anyway.

Don't quote interviews unless you can provide a source. Why should he believe you? How does he know that's from a real interview? There are plenty of fake ones floating around.

As for this one in particular,
Toriyama:
Goku isn’t interested in child-rearing, probably. He’s completely unqualified to be a father. (laughs) He doesn’t even have a job. Goku wants nothing other than to get stronger, and it feels like he doesn’t have any other instincts. So he shows absolutely no interest in things he’s not interested in. I’d bet he wouldn’t have had any interest in marriage, either.

I believe that's what you're talking about.
Storm wrote:Toriyama's opinion on his characters is not the end-all be-all.

How does that make any sense at all? Toryama makes these characters. He decides their traits, their personalities, etc. If he says that Goku is a bad father, it's probably due to the fact that the way he was written made him into a bad father.
