We should probably try providing sources for any Salagir quotes from now on. We don't want this to become another "Toriyama said he planned to end it at Freeza" crap lol.

Of course why I said it's a possible forgery. It would make sense however as he already stated that Goku and Vegeta didn't get much stronger

I don't think a source was provided for that quote either. Who knows what he would even mean by that, because he doesn't think the gap between Freeza and 16 is that big, as was posted earlier in this thread and caused a big argument. So he probably doesn't see the gap between SSJ3 and Ultimate Gohan as that big either.

To be honest I still find that bullshit lol. But it's his series. But what I want to know is. How strong is Prince/King Vegeta. He got SSJ2 apparently. So....?

We'll just have to wait for clarification. He seems to purposely avoid the answer he is going with.

Cell's reaction to Vegetto's power (and what he said) seems to indicate that Cell knows that he is weaker than Vegetto and that he has no chance of beating him. Gast's reaction, however, was different. He seemed to acknowledge Vegetto as stronger but he seemed confident that he could beat him nonetheless.

Yo, guys, I added on to my idea of how U7 Gohan SHOULD have been a competitor in the tournament. Like I said before, he'd resemble U12 Gohan in appearance and personality, but would be as strong as U16/U18 Gohan, having trained with Gast Carcohl and received Old Kai's charm. His match would be right after King Cold and Videl's, U16/U18 Videl would gawk over him like how U16/U18 Gohan gawked over U9 Videl, and would compete in the tournament instead of U3 Bardock. Also, nobody would get the ability to see into the future; I think that **** was stupid. Here's his backstory that I came up with so far!
After defeating Frieza, Gast Carcohl leaves with Gohan, Vegeta and Cui to destroy the rest of the Planetary Trade Organization. Eventually, he battles with Cooler and King Cold's empires, and while Cui betrays him, he still easily defeats both empires. During Gast's battle with either King Cold or Cooler (I'm still deciding on who, could be both), however, Vegeta escapes to Earth and meets Dr. Gero, and agrees to become an Android. Now an artificial being, Vegeta devastates the planet and takes several lives, including Gero's, Krillin's and even Goku's. Gast Carcohl and Gohan both realize that Vegeta has escaped and head to Earth, but are too late to stop Vegeta's destruction.

Vegeta's power initially overwhelms even Gast Carcohl. Gast Carcohl and Gohan go into hiding for a while. Mr. Popo meets with them, and has them both train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Eventually, Gast Carcohl kills Vegeta.
Gohan would also turn into a Super Saiyan during the conflict against the reborn Vegeta, but I'm not sure when. He could do so in his first fight against the reborn Vegeta before he and Gast train in the chamber, when he and Gast are training the hyperbolic time chamber or in the final battle. And he'd also have an intense resentment towards Vegeta, and he would end up fighting U13 Vegeta sometime in the tournament. What do you guys think? 8)

As for the whole debate before hand we'll just have to wait for Salagir. Even though he has a tier list and stated Goku and Vegeta barely got any stronger and that the surprises from them aren't power level related. People just can't stand Goku being not that special.

What's your point. I said I don't care about the novel and anything in it. If you haven't noticed Salagir has pretty much dodged the question in the comments of his manga pages. I think Salagir would mention Goku surpassing Gohan in his manga if it were true (maybe he will). Until we see a statement in the actual manga or an open answer from Salagir. Then there is no answer.

Kinda reminds me how Akira Toriyama doesn't really talk about canon or non canon. So I guess it can be in personal canon but that willl be confusing. Best option is to ignore it.

Pretty much. He said not to debate about it and wouldn't actually list an answer. If Goku surpassing Gohan was so true (maybe it will be) then Salagir would mention that important detail. Until then I have no reason to believe it.

Adding on to my idea,
After Vegeta's death, Gast Carcohl and Gohan leave Earth to continue training and Gohan eventually becomes a Super Saiyan 2. Ten years later, on the tenth anniversary of Vegeta's death, Gohan decides to visit Earth. There, he finds Babidi's henchmen searching for Earthlings. He follows the henchmen into Babidi's ship, where Babidi decides to leave for another planet. Gohan, fearing the danger in letting them go, stops them and demands an explanation. Babidi, sensing Gohan's enormous power, decides to lure him in the ship. Gohan fights all of Babidi's henchmen and succeeds, and fights Dabura. The two are evenly matched, but due to the energy Dabura took from Gohan in the fight, Majin Buu awakes.

Majin Buu kills Dabura and nearly does the same to Gohan. Babidi leaves Earth with Majin Buu, but not before destroying the Earth. Fortunately, Gohan was saved by the Supreme Kai right before Earth's destruction, and after Kibito heals him, Supreme Kai decides to have Gohan train with the Zeta Sword. The Zeta Sword eventually breaks, but Old Kai appears and awakens Gohan's potential. Meanwhile, Majin Buu and Babidi are busy destroying planets, but Gohan shows up and kills them both.
So yeah, U7 Gohan is the one to kill U7 Buu, instead of Gast Carcohl. Since Majin Buu destroys Earth, Cell doesn't appear ever Universe 7. Potara also is never used to fuse anyone (besides Kais) in Universe 7, seeing as there would be no need as Gohan kills Buu.

Thoughts? 8)

There has actually been an answer to this question. The page listing the universes used actually to contain explicit info about the canonicity of various DBM-related sources. As always the Internet Archive is a great help - in June 2010 this page said:
DBM page wrote:Note on dated informations and links:
Informations that are taken from the manga are 100% sure.
Informations that are linked to a DBM comics chapter are 100% sure.
Informations that are linked to a DBM french Fanfic are 90% sure.
Other informations are 70% sure.
Then, in July 2011 after it has leaked, all it said was:
DBM page wrote:This page is neither finished, neither true. Don't bother.
In October 2011 it became more or less what it is now.

What we should make of it? It seems that Salagir has abandoned the thought of assigning a precise percentage of canonicity to DBM sources. Other then that I don't know.

There will be a new page today. It'll probably be the cover page to the new U16 (Vegetto) special drawn by Charlotte. There'll be 4 pages per week, sometimes replaced with minicomics.

Chapter 31 ended 2 pages early, so not necessarily. Gast saying stop seems like a good cliffhanger to leave it on.
