Do we have to have done so in order to have an opinion on it? If the game doesn't look appealing why should we have to waste money on it to test our thesis? All of us here hate Ultimate Tenkaichi, yet I'm sure only half of us actually bought it. Theres people who haven't seen all of GT or any of it at all yet they still opt to stay away from it or bash it etc so are they wrong for having a negative opinion on it even though they haven't seen it in its entirety or at all.
We don't have to experience something some in full all the time in order to have solid thoughts on it. Thats one of the points of people doing reviews.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Where were you guys when I was telling these guys this. It was like 1v4 over here, no one would listen to me. Also nice gif, can I get a link to where you got that?
Why are you linking the box art / logos / covers of those games? You've already said their titles. I don't really understand the majority of your posts...

Forget the complaint. Why did you post them in the first place?
Can anyone else imagine what it would be like high-flying, team battling with all of your friends, communicating on the mic telling them what to do in order to defeat your enemies. Or asking them to help you take down a giant boss? If these gameplay aspects are epic, I think the possibilities of fun with this game are endless. Can't wait then we can really judge

All those aspects you listed. Sounds like Dc Universe Online xD.

Does anyone else want a multiplayer Shadow of the Colossus after reading this? Sure it would ruin the atmosphere, but cooperative giant monster takedowns would be fun.

Oh god, please let Shadow of the Colossus multiplayer happen. Or Attack on Titan with multiplayer.
Alas, I don't think BoZ is going to be a game which would require such tactical thinking

If only. That would definitely put an end to the people complaining about the gameplay though.
Will there be news at Gamescom? So far i'm really disappointed in what I see.

Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
I don't get it. If "everyone" hated GT, according to Namco Bandai, then why did they put GT in Budokai 3, Infinite World, and Tenkaichi 1-3 in the first place?
Apparently NB didn't have that type of mentality when they were throwing GT in every DBZ game beyond Budokai 3, then stopped when we went next-gen...

Aren't we all?
I mean the gameplay could be solid. But it doesn't seem much different from RB series and the T series. I'm not really interested in the team mechanics at the moment as they haven't shown me anything worth while. The game looks like it will be a chore to take out all the opponents at once which will become tedious and cheap shots seem bound to happen if your out numbered. No local multiplayer sucks as I mess around with that all the time or when I mess around with plain training mode multi-player (in some games). The models look ugly in comparison to other one's (with only SSJ Goku looking okay). They mentioned what if's which could be interesting, but they haven't elaborated on that. The extras have yet to be mentioned but Character creator was tossed out which really sucks as it was a great idea and would have made me want to customize. They need a customization like the wrestling games which have a shit load of it.
All in all i'm barely interested.

Man I hope so. I want it to be like people telling a friend stuff like "hey knock him this way, thats when Gohan will stun him by throwing him into the ground, where I will already be with a charged kamehameha wave containing all the energy you guys gave to me via the new genki meter. It's foolproof". I want something more than a button masher. Can you even imagine having a friend throw ki blasts at the ground, creating tons of dust, where you can teleport out of there? That's some epic tactical thinking.

That would be awesome. I'm thinking that the Movie 13 fight would be perfect for this type of gameplay.
Well, this game certainly looks no worse than what we've been getting recently. They can still surprise us. If anything, I think these will at least be better than the Raging Blast series (Including Ultimate Blast). I guess that isn't really saying much, but it's something.
While what we're seeing may look disappointing, at least it's certain this will be better than DBZ for Kinect. That game is the worst I've ever played (well, it was a close call between that and Sonic '06, but at least Sonic '06 had some fun moments). I don't know about BoZ beating Raging Blast 2 though, I'm really warming up to that game.

I think fans like to complete roster even if they hate GT. Also GT did had some cool characters despite it being a bad show. I like Super 17, but I can admit his saga was awful.
