Why does Goku hate Cell?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Vegeta was at Goku's mercy in a way, as Goku was the one who caused him to be spared. Goku was also beginning to understand his Saiyan urges then, so he was also being impulsive.

That would be a nice scene to watch to be honest. It doesn't to be DBZ at all. Any anime,manga, animation, or comic will do. IBut to bad if it happen in DBz. Some sort of plot device would prevent it.

Yeah, it would have been cool if Vegeta went to Earth to kill everyone, and had Gero turn him into an Android to do the job.

Was they in space? Nope. I mean if it meant Goku dying and everyone dying. Vegeta coming back to Earth would have some plot device for Vegeta dying.
