It's pretty impossible to remove it at this point. Near as we can tell, Toei does not have distinct SFX/music/voice tracks (well, specifically the voice track) for the original version of the show to go back to and remove the song independently of the rest of the audio.
They would either have to silence it out entirely, re-record it entirely, or just ignore it and hope no-one catches on like they've been doing since its original broadcast.

I doubt that will happen because Toei no more have the original audio masters of episode 120, which means that they can't remove Battle Point Unlimited without redubbing the entire episode, and Daisuke Gouri, the actor for King Cold, is already dead. Also, the anime industry was far looser and there were many instances of plagiarism at the time, so my guess is that they won't retrospectively accuse him of something made over 20 years ago.
