Developer behind the Super Butoden Series?

Post by Insertclevername » Tue Jul 30, 2013 5:31 pm

I keep looking at the boxart and labels but I keep seeing just "Bandai". Surely they can't be the ones behind the games; aren't they just a publisher?

TOSE Software company made the games I think. I pretty sure it was done by them. Through the box cover doesn't say their names. That or I can't find it.

If they were made by TOSE, you won't see their name anywhere. They intentionally keep themselves anonymous. Though that does make games they actually develop rather funny looking.

Just like Dragon Ball since Chapter #4.

How so?

I remember Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger's for the SNES also has this trend. That too was published by Bandai but it's developer isn't credited any where.

Wikipedia credits TOSE as the developers of Super Butouden 1-3, Hyper Dimension and a few other Super Famicom DBZ games. They aren't sourced, so I'm rather curious as to who posted that information and what that was based upon. I am personally unaware of any sources that implicate TOSE in the development of said games beyond rumours and speculation.
Thanos before Thanos was cool.

For that reason; there is no developer on the box.
