If they end up cropping the show again as they did with the original release, I won't get it and dread having to pay the super expensive release of the Dragon Box.
I doubt that they would release the series in 16:9 again.
That's what I'm hoping as well, but I can't say that I have faith that Funimation would do this. Like I did with the latest Viz manga release, I'm going to see if the release is worth it or not (in the case of the Viz manga release, it obviously wasn't), so I'm naturally skeptical.

I just hope we get a release that's as good looking as the previous blu ray release Funimation did.

This is an 80s/90s animated all-ages show that was popular amongst kids. It's not some potent super weapon that might fall into the wrong hands that we have to protect from evil.

He's saying a joke is supposed to be funny.

Could anyone tell me when Otakon is? Hopefully not too far away...

Otakon is August 9-11.
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).

Well I'm sure there's someone out there who bought into their whole, "16:9 is so great and takes away film that was damaged and no meant to be used and look how much more you see on the sides!!!"
