I hate everything about that form lol. But still think a yellow SSJ4 would have been worst.Kamiccolo9 wrote:Same. While I'm not a fan of the concept, conditions, and creation of Super Saiyan God, I actually really like the design.Kaboom wrote:Nope, you're not the only one. It'd have been excessive, predictable, and lame. I'm really glad that Super Saiyan God's appearance ended up being something completely contrary to what lots of people were calling for it to be. Just like with Beers and Whis, it goes against the norm of what you'd expect a "powerful" being to look like, and that's what makes it unique.TheGmGoken wrote:Am I the only one who thinks a yellow SSJ4 or the fan made SSG (Pretty much a A yellow SSJ4) looks AWFUL?

Wishful thinking. Nothing ever even remotely suggests such a possibility. If all generic SSs are golden, then there's no reason to believe that all SSGs wouldn't be red. Not to mention that Vegeta or someone else getting a different color just for the lulz would make less sense than BOG does already.dbzfan7 wrote:I like the possibility of different colors for SSJ God as well
Re: SSJ God not permanent?
Nothing says otherwise as of yet either. We have seen only one. Ryo Horikawa likes the idea of a blue SSJ God. But yes, Wishful thinking indeed. Who's to say anyone else will achieve the form period. Whose to say the form will ever return.hleV wrote:Wishful thinking. Nothing ever even remotely suggests such a possibility. The same way every Super Saiyan 4 has the same coloring.hleV wrote:Wishful thinking. Nothing ever even remotely suggests such a possibility. Pretty much, SSJ4 dhad a whole new color for Gogeta's hair and his fur was brown. Vegeta had Brown hair and crimson fur compared to Goku as well.Zephyr wrote:The same way every Super Saiyan 4 has the same coloring.hleV wrote:Wishful thinking. Am I the only one that doesn't see the fur as brown? It seems like dark red to me, and the games follow that as well.dbzfan7 wrote:Pretty much, SSJ4 dhad a whole new color for Gogeta's hair and his fur was brown.
We don't know if Toriyama will draw the next Super Saiyan God (please stay Goku exclusive).hleV wrote:Except that it's not by Toriyama.Zephyr wrote: The same way every Super Saiyan 4 has the same coloring.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Re: SSJ God not permanent?
I haven't seen BOG yet, but after reading several times the detailed synopsis I think Goku will master the SSG form at some point, otherwise Whis wouldn't have offered the Beerus' job to him. Besides, he becomes a SSG for a second time to repeal Beerus' energy ball, what should be impossible because of the time limit.
