Some people think all the Kaioshin are weaker than SS Gohan. Others believe that the Kaioshin are really strong based on the implications about South Kaioshin, and the implication that the others are in the same ballpark as him.

I go with the middle ground, sort of. I believe Gohan was a SS2 when pulling the sword and fighting Dabra, is stronger than 4/5 of the Kaioshin, but is not stronger than South Kaioshin. I feel like South Kaioshin was implied to be SS3 tier, and logically he would be if Mr. Buu is also, but I also feel that Dabra and Gohan were implied to be a huge deal to the general Kaioshin tier of power. So I go with Dabra and SS2 Gohan > all Kaioshin except South Kaioshin, as he's the only one who was implied to be stronger than that. I see him as like the Goku of Kaioshin (well, pre-Cell Saga Goku). That one guy who was just stupidly stronger than everyone else. The anime, at least, seems to agree with that interpretation.

So... Dabra stomps, for me.

Goku also says that Cooler is stronger. And Goku himself is stated to be FAR stronger than he was on Namek. And Cooler came way closer to killing Super Saiyan Goku than Freeza ever did.

I found Cooler's 470 million PL to be abit much considering that would put Goku around 500 million. Isnt it only like two years between Freeza and Cooler? I doubt Goku could have nearly tripled in strength in that time.

By the Daizenshuu, Gogeta and Cooler don't exist in the same continuity.

The anime does whatever it wants with power levels. ANIME Goku very well could've been that high given the hax in the Mecha Arc.

You must be pretty desperate to involve GT into the argument. I don't think Toriyama has an idea of how strong SS4 is in comparison to others, so he couldn't have approved that statement. Did he even supervise GT-focused guidebooks?

I'm not desperate. You are saying that base Vegetto > everyone, and Vegetto is in the end of Z, so next thing is BoG & GT. And also, you really think that Toriyama cares about how strong Vegetto or Super Saiyan 4 is? All he needs to know is that Super Vegetto > manga, and SS4 > SS3. This is the same guy that likes Super Saiyan to be a x10 increase.

The fact that Whis being superior to Beerus was supposed to be a secret doesn't justify the fact that the statement about Beerus being the strongest in Z is outright wrong. That's like accepting DB movies and fillers, except for those parts that contradict shit. If the statement is wrong, it's completely disregarded. Get over it. It's not like that statement comes from Toriyama and is of any value, anyway.

Except it's not the same. What they want to say in that line is that Beers is above anyone else we saw before. Whis not been included was intentional, not an accident like the immortal dead people in filler. Also, since Toriyama isn't the only one involved, then we don't only need him to answer it to us.
