Re: J-Stars Victory Vs. (JUMP crossover game) for PS3/Vita
I came....twice. Seriously though, the only two characters I asked for.... and they're in. Wish it was that easy for other games I had wishes for.
Re: J-Stars Victory Vs. (JUMP crossover game) for PS3/Vita
This is pretty good. There's really nobody else I'm clamoring for to make it in, but I expect a Jotaro Kujo announcement any day now. Who knows how far they will dig back for the roster, but maybe Arale could make it in.

Shaman King, JoJo, and Hokuto no Ken are missing.
Re: J-Stars Victory Vs. (JUMP crossover game) for PS3/Vita
I guess? The game hasn't come out yet, there's still tons of time to announce more characters. No series is "missing".JeffJarrett wrote:Shaman King, JoJo, and Hokuto no Ken are missing.
I also have to wonder what are the chances for Shaman King to be included. What with it being cancelled during its run. I mean it got those spin offs and the author was able to finish properly with the re-release but...I don't know. It's not the first series that I think people would've been clamoring for.
If you're not here soon... GET ON!

Alright looks like I'm officially importing this game.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Whoa. As much as I really wanted to see Yusuke in the game, I figured the chances were really low of it happening. But man - they're doing great on this game so far IMO, even going so far as to throw in Kenshin and Yusuke. I. Must. Have. This. Game.
Still kinda hoping for Wingman, and Arale, to make it in though. Hell, even Bobobo would be fun as hell probably, and I'm not even a Bobobo fan.

Fuck yes, Yusuke is in! 2nd fav series of all time man....Gon too, is a plus. Both Togashi characters revealed at the same time, as I expected. Now, if Hunter X Hunter would resume as well lol. Looks like in one of the shots, they put Goku and Yusuke on the same team
Tim Duncan is dope and forever.

Put these in, along with Saint Seiya and (if possible) Yu-Gi-Oh and the game is perfect for meJeffJarrett wrote:Shaman King, JoJo, and Hokuto no Ken are missing.
Yugi could have an interesting fighting style... somewhat ranged attack (using monster cards) and his defense being based on magic and trap cards.

That's something I've noticed lately here. The initial reveal of the game was with just Goku, Luffy, and Toriko if I recall. Then they confirmed Naruto. Since the original four though, they've been making character reveals in pairs that are vaguely related - Kenshin and Ichigo (swordsmen), the cop from KochiKame and Gin (comic relief), and now Gon and Yusuke (both Yoshihiro Togashi leads). If there are more characters left to reveal (which I hope they are), and this trend continues...well, if we could figure out a formula here, we might be able to make some guesses as to who's left.SaiyanZ wrote:Both Togashi characters revealed at the same time, as I expected.

Good eye. Perhaps we'll get Kenshirou and Jojo at the same time, since they're the same sort of archetype?Gyt Kaliba wrote:That's something I've noticed lately here. The only manga/anime I care for are Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, and Dr. Slump. So, only Norimaki Arale-chan from Dr. Slump remains for me, and I don't find her inclusion very unlikely.

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Woah, good catch with Bobobo. Wasn't that a fairly big title when it was running, considering it was a gag series and not strictly battle-oriented? Bobobo made the cover of the best of the 2000s series awhile back, so I'd say he is also very likely.Gyt Kaliba wrote:Hell, even Bobobo would be fun as hell probably, and I'm not even a Bobobo fan.

By the way, I'm really impressed that they revealed some of the most antecipated characters already.
I expect Yoh Asakura to be revealed with Jotaro Kujo (characters who can summon familiars), Taikobou with Pegasus Seiya (characters related to mythological stories), Arale with Kinnikuman (characters from comedy series who can fight), Bossun with Medaka Kurokami (characters from crazy school manga) and Yami Yugi with Bo-bobo (just because).
Sorry, I can't speak English very well, but I'm trying my best.

Hmm, that'd be about 20 characters, which is a pretty good sized roster, so I could get behind this - though out of these, I only really know Arale, Kinikkuman (slighly), Yugi, and Bobobo. But as I said, I'm even looking forward to Bobobo since he'd play insanely no doubt, and I don't even really like that series.Wobbuffet wrote:I expect Yoh Asakura to be revealed with Jotaro Kujo (characters who can summon familiars), Taikobou with Pegasus Seiya (characters related to mythological stories), Arale with Kinnikuman (characters from comedy series who can fight), Bossun with Medaka Kurokami (characters from crazy school manga) and Yami Yugi with Bo-bobo (just because).
Can't believe I didn't think of Yoh or Saint Seiya. Hmm...Light Yagami could be interesting too, but I'm not entirely sure how you could make him playable either.
