JUSTIN CHATWIN. Just kidding, it's Nozawa. For the number two spot, it's a tie between Schemmel and Kelamis followed by Morrow for three. I also appreciate Castaneda's performance (I apologize for that bastardization of his name), but haven't heard enough of him to truly judge his performance. Also, it doesn't help that I'm not familiar enough with the Spanish language to really say anything. I mean, I watch enough anime subbed to have a basic familiarity with the Japanese language and can judge acting ability to a certain extent even though I only know a handful of what's being said without subs. When it comes to Spanish, I only have my high school Spanish classes to go on, so yeah. As for other Goku voices, I also kinda like his German voice. I was never big on Ian Corlett, mainly due to the fact that he sounds a little to "generic action hero" to me. Not a bad actor by any means, and I'm sure with better direction he could have done a pretty good Goku, but I can only judge what's actually there. Needless to say, I'm not a huge fan. I kinda hope the Ocean Kai voice is a good choice. Brad Swaile maybe. He did a pretty good Gohan, and I think it would be neat if they mirrored the Japanese version by having adult Goku and Gohan being played by the same actor, but only if Swaile can do both well because as we all know, Goku and Gohan are very different characters. I'm not familiar with Ocean's talent pool as of late, though, so I can't really think of anyone else who would do a good Goku from there other than maybe the guy who played Inuyasha.

Nozawa, of course. Kelamis's screams top Schemmel by a mile but as an overall Goku, Schemmel (Kai) is the superior English version.

As of late, I'd say Schemmel. Even if his voice can be a bit too rough for the character.

"Over saturation is easy. Just drag the slider to the right and there you are: instant interest. And certainly, the majority of the public likes saturated color images. In fact, if you want to quickly create a popular image, simply over saturate the colors and increase the contrast. While you may not achieve a sophisticated image, you will achieve an image that will please a less demanding audience." - Alain Briot

Nozawa>Schemmel>Corlette>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kelamis.

Kelamis is so terrible. He has some good battle reactions but his acting is subpar.

From all I've heard of Kirby, he's flat, but Kelamis is so unnatural and weird sounding. Unfortunately the only way for me to explain my beef with his performance is to express it verbally.

I thought Kelamis was pretty meh with what he did in the TV series, but think he was much better in the movies (maybe better directing), though the occasional line in the movies he still flubbed, but overall I think on his best days, he really captured Goku's spirit (though Schemmel does pretty well with that too in Kai).

I should probably go into more detail.

Nozawa captures Goku perfectly, she brings out his naive child like personality and all his other character traits. Schemmel sounds more subtle, he brings out Goku's carefree attitude while rarely needing to go over the top like Nozawa. He makes Goku sound like a kid at heart while still sounding believable.

Peter Kalamis is good but his delivery does sound a bit cartoonish.

Kirby Morrow is a bit meh, he's ok but just a bit too smooth.

AB Group Goku isn't fitting but the voice is that hilariously misplaced you can't not like it.

Ian Corlett: He had a few good moments but most of the time he had an extremely wooden tone to everything he said, even Schemmel post Android arc sounds more expressive heck even Big Green Goku has more expression in what he says.

Corlette isn't wooden, it's a more reserved performance than Goku should be, but it's not wooden.

To be honest. Sounds like he just read into the script and change his voice. To me besides changing his voice he just sounds like he's reading the script. Doesn't sound like he have emotion.

For me, it's a very close race between Schemmel and Nozawa for Top Goku, though I tend to lean towards Schemmel slightly (purely thanks to Kai that he's so high up).

Not really sure where to place him, but if we do count Abridged, I do put MasakoX on my list. A really fun performance for what it is.

Corlett and Kelamis have different strengths and weaknesses as Goku, so I find it hard sometimes to decide who I prefer among them. Could go either way.

That's pretty much it for my experiences with Adult Goku personally.

Masako Nozawa takes number one. Sean at the moment takes number two. Masako X could become the new number 2 if he does a more legitimate Goku more often (not the idiot version)

MasakoX doesn't count, this isn't about a parody.

And Kelamis is trying too hard and doesn't sound the least bit natural.

But he has done stuff that isn't parody. But not official either.

1. But this says VOICE. Not dub. A voice can be official or a fan made one. Stilla voice. The topic didn't say just official ones. Don't start a what counts as a "Voice" debate again.

2. I didn't praise Kelamis at all. He sounds like Goofy from Disney and Ian sounds lifeless when reading the lines.

If we can list fandub voices then I would say Gozar is my favorite fandub Goku not MasakoX.

It's valid, since it's not even the dub voice, it's a parody character, hence, doesn't count.

Corlette doesn't sound lifeless. You make him sound as though he delivers lines like Ben Stein of Vin Diesel. He's capable of emotion, the fault lies with the script.
