Concept Video: Kai with even less filler!
Concept Video: Kai with even less filler!
A concept video showing what Kai would be like if it literally took out it's filler to be as close to the Manga as possible.

I honestly prefer that Kai kept the filler. Sometimes things can be more explained and flashbacks are great info as well. A lot of flashbacks don't appear in the manga. I still count them as valid information because it doesn't contradict anything. The ones that do I simply alter them a little(Such as multi hair color Saiyans). Also some things go way to fast in the manga IMO. Such as the Final Kamehameha Battle with Gohan and Cell.

I really liked that. It felt how they really would have been interacting, without the pointless panning shots and such.

I think you should do more of these, one for each manga chapter. Having DBZ as five minute shorts would be a fun way to watch the series! I'm sure it would be a lot of work, though, so I understand if you're not willing to take on a project like this. I just think it would be a nice way to be able to breeze through Z like you can with the manga but have the perks of watching the anime, too.

I've been impressed at how well these cuts actually flow last time you posted them. But what happened with the aspect ratio?

Thanks.BlazingFiddlesticks wrote:I've been impressed at how well these cuts actually flow last time you posted them. But what happened with the aspect ratio?
As for the aspect ratio, it's due to the files I'm using, which actually include black bars on the sides of the picture.
When I get back to making more (Maybe the whole series! XD), I'll see if I can correct them, although they do kinda work as a way to not get them blocked.

Nice job. With this being a true thing, I'd only have to put up with the usually horrible art style, incorrect colors, lack of lightning sparks and etc.

These a brilliant, I hope you make more.
Re: Concept Video: Kai with even less filler!
It's a cool idea, but I like how the anime adapts the manga to better fit the medium.

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I was going to do the next chapter but for some reason whenever I export the file, it only plays the audio and not the video.dbzfan7 wrote:Hope you keep doing more. Love the cuts.

Cool idea, but I feel like there should be a bit more of a pause between cuts. I like the idea of making it as close to manga speed as possible, but even when reading the manga, I don't go from panel to panel that quickly.

To be honest the conversations didn't feel natural. But I guess that's the cuts fault. But it was an interesting watch and would like to see more.
