After being brought back to life by the Namekian Dragon Balls on a technicality, Nappa decided to take advantage of this second chance and live an honest life this time. He finally finished college and got a well-paying accounting job. He then joined the Jewish temple and met a nice girl there. They got married and had two beautiful children together. But sometimes Nappa would look back at the tattered remains of his old armor and have traumatic flashbacks to the day he died...
Nappa started going to therapy, but it didn't help. He would have dreams about his so-called partner throwing him into the air and vaporizing him, saying that he had no use for a Saiyan that couldn't move. One night Nappa was woken up from one of his nightmares by his wife's horrified screams; he had blown half the house away during his sleep. Nappa's wife, afraid of what he would do next time, took the kids and left. Unable to go on after losing his new family, Nappa killed himself.
Not long after, he had his scene in GT.
