The Last Kamehameha! music by me (Based on Kikuchi Motifs)
This one was a pain to do but HELLA fun! I use two motifs on this one, Cell's and Baby Gohan's.
Basically the first part of this song is for when Cell is about to blow up earth. The Next part is when Gohan gathers his strength by listening to Goku.
Here it is! MP3 download link in the description!:

I just caught it on YouTube a minute ago.
Another great piece. Keep up the good work!
EDIT: By the way, just out of curiosity, what all are you using to make these pieces of music?

I use FL Studio 10 with Garritan Personal Orchestra (More Single instruments to form your own emsembles, Harder to use) and Garritan Instant Orchestra (Ready Ensembles, some with neat effects, not much customization but sounds great. Easier to use because the ensembles you choose are already correctly panned. I sometimes use Edirol (Garritan's pack more punch but Edirol sounds great in slow soft melodies).

Awesome. Some people I subscribe to on YT also use FL, and I've seen some reviews and demos of the Garritan libraries. Good stuff there.

FL is easy enough to use and Garritan Libraries are cheap and get the job done very well!. If you know a bit of programming and some advanced tricks, I've listened to some amazing pieces that use Garritan, they pretty realistic. Sadly I'm not in that level yet.jpdbzrulz4sure wrote:Awesome. Do you mind if I could this as music for a trailer for a channel on Youtube?

You did a great job at capturing the style! I'm tempted to do a BGM replacement video and put this over the Kamehameha battle between the two.

It'd be awesome to see that!Black_Liger wrote:Thanks a Lot! That would rock so much. Please do! Here's the video:

It uses this track and a Cha-La Variation to finish it off. I would upload it to YouTube, but I don't want to potentially lose another account from uploading DBZ videos, haha. It's about 4 minutes total.

No problem! You did great work on the track and it working with the animation shows that! And I know you mean about FL and volume/quality. I've come across it myself doing the Pokémon Soundfont remixes, haha.Black_Liger wrote:That was great! Cool! I used some of the Garitan strings on the Empire's Dotmw soundtrack back in 2002. Gary was really nice about letting me use his stuff in a game where a lot of other companies were pretty snooty. He hadn't released Personal Orchestra yet but mentioned it was coming soon because he was actually trying to target game composers who needed smaller memory footprint libraries. That whole "ingame MOD music" scene kinda died off though. Everything went to streaming audio tracks instead. In video terms it'd be like if all games were comprised of chained together FMVs, Dragon's Lair style. It makes a good budget library though. EWQLSO Silver is another good cheap option these days.

If you reverse the song, it almost works as an entirely new song.

Sorry for the delay guys, I{ve been around with exams and such! Coming from you Scott it's a great compliment, thanks! it's interesting to hear that, GPO is really nice for it's price and packs a good punch, My favorite though is EWQLSO, Good sound, although the best versions are a little pricey XD. I got the old Gold version with the kompakt player somwhere, I'll try it soon

Hehehe thank you very much, I enjoyed how it worked with the scene, I didn't compose it with the footage so it's a nice surprise, I only did it focusing on the feels of the scene, I'm so happy it actually fits prety wel! :3 And I've done my share of replaced instruments tracks, it's fun!.SSJ4 Furanki wrote:No problem! Really? I'm gonna check that out!!Gonstead wrote:If you reverse the song, it almost works as an entirely new song.
By the way guys, I've started working on the first track of my Kai Buu Saga concept score, it's hard since I'm not such a good composer but I'll manage, I may take more time though XD I'll update the thread with a sample later
