Hmm, that'd be about 20 characters, which is a pretty good sized roster, so I could get behind this - though out of these, I only really know Arale, Kinikkuman (slighly), Yugi, and Bobobo. But as I said, I'm even looking forward to Bobobo since he'd play insanely no doubt, and I don't even really like that series.

Well, Medaka and Bossun were wishful thinking. But I expect the game to have 30+ characters. This is a crossover game, after all.

Hell yeah, I didn't think anyone else would mention Ryo Saeba. Though I'm not sure he'll want to show up, given how much of a sausagefest this game is so far.

I see a bunch of heroes, where the villains at? Cell, Toguro, Aizen, Kuma..... somebody.... We need bad guys to fight too.

Yeah, some villains would be nice. I think Pure Boo would be the choice for the villain representing Dragon Ball since he was the last in the manga. Though, I feel Freeza is more well known.

I wouldn't mind if it was just the main characters showing up in this game. Unless the roster is big enough that the non-main characters to appear are ones I like, I have the feeling the other characters I like wouldn't have much odds of getting in xD (except maybe Kakashi, Rukia and Vegeta).

Well, if there will be a story mode, then there will be a villain.
Maybe Dr. Mashirito again? Or somebody else like Dio Brando? Maybe an original character?

Come to think of it, I'd rather just have the protagonists from each series and not clutter it with other characters. Besides, we all know who they'd pick to go along with Gokuu.

Anyone noticed that they have "westernized" the names of the characters, including Goku's: in the trailer along with for example Ichigo Kurosaki and Kenshin Himura we have Goku Son

Well, I'm used to Ichigo Kurosaki thanks to the dub...but Goku Son just makes me think of that one scene from Scary Movie II, lol.

I hope they add more new characters soon. Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star), Seiya (Saint Seiya), one of the Jojos (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure), Kid Muscle (Kinnikuman Season 2), Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (from the series named after him), Dark Yugi (Yu-Gi-Oh!) *I love that his name is considered a series spoiler, lol*, Ryuuji Takane (from Ring ni Kakero), Arale (Dr. Slump), Yoh (Shaman King), etc.

Hopefully a villain from each series too.

What I meant is that it's gonna sound weird because Goku's name was never westernized, the countries that used the full name always called him Son Goku.

I don't see why Kid Muscle would be included over his father. Especially when he ran in a publication that wasn't Weekly Shonen Jump.

Well, Kid Muscle's just had more of a run than his father did. Plus Shueisha published that magazine anyways, and at least one manga he was in ran in V-Jump, which is a Jump manga you could say.

And yeah, sorry, forgot the official titling. Could have just said Ultimate Muscle I suppose (really want to get that manga some day...)

I'd really like to see Dark Yugi in this because he was cool in jss and jus but I also would like to see how they would work out his card summoning a in this game. (Hopefully not like Pokemon trainer on super smash bros.)

Also if we get one villain I think super buu(gohan absorbed) would be cool because he would be fun for this game and he has a lot of attacks from a number of characters that just might not make it in.
