I think I also remember him putting up a message on his doorstep that he isn't accepting any sort of fan mail whatsoever. I remember a member here posting photos of their trip to Japan which had a few shots of where Toriyama lived which showed this message as well.

At any rate, even if you had contact information, Akira Toriyama doesn't exactly respond to individual fans, and doesn't care for interviews. Interviews for Battle of Gods with non-Shueisha staff were conducted in writing, and the only public appearances he made at the time were either with his head off-camera or with him behind a screen. That doesn't exactly bode well for an event where he'd be bombarded on all sides with questions.

The Phantom Pen-Name

What I regret most after becoming a manga artist is having used my real name. At first, I figured there was no way I'd sell anyhow, so I didn't even consider using a pen-name. Although I did, as a joke, talk about going with "Kisaku Mizutani" / "Nikisaku Mizuta". [In Japanese, it reads as "Mizutanikisaku", with the division left unclear. The kanji that make it up are "suiden" meaning "water-filled rice paddy", and "nikisaku", "semiannual crop".] I thought it sounded nice and countrified… maybe I should have gone ahead and used it. Early on, I even showed my face on the pages of Jump. My editor, Torishima-san, told me, "Manga artists must do things like that!" so I just went along with it, thinking that's how it was. After that, whenever I'd go shopping at the supermarket, it was one in the countryside, so I'd immediately be found out. Now, they don't publish my face anymore, so it's all right. But… about one person in 100 (?) will come up to me and ask, "Are you Akira Toriyama-san?" Since I use my real name, thinking of my kids, I suppose I'm glad I didn't do any erotic manga. (laughs) If I were to start using a pen-name now, it'd probably be obvious.

As much as I and I'm sure many other fans would kill for the chance to sit down and ask the man all our questions, I dont wanna do it at the sake of his privacy or have him do it when he doesent really want to. Id probably slam my head in against my desk if I had to sit through hundreds of comments that you see on youtube. If I was Toriyama id personally just answer questions from this site, the majority of them anyway. Hell the only questions Id like asking are what's Freeza's race named, whats your favorite SSJ form, is there anything youd go back and change, fix, or alter, stuff like that. Nothing about power levels or anything like that, just stuff regarding the universe and the races within it.

I bet he does not remember what he originally wrote years ago. He will most likely be like "Cell destroying a solar system? What the heck are you talking about?". There are other questions to ask the guy then stupid fantasy matches related crap like "Who would win?" or "Is character A stronger then Character B?".
