Other Anime Abilities That Could Work In DBZ.

After seeing a image of Android 17 and 18 with the Sharingan eye from Naruto I started to wonder, what abilities from other animes and mangas could be beneficial to DBZ characters.

I personally think in DBZ the Sharingan could make a character like Goku or Vegeta nearly unbeatable. The eye allows you to read and see your enemies moves ahead of time and in DBZ where the fights are all about reading your opponent and knowing how to react to their movements, the ability to see it ahead of time would be a invaluable advantage. Even enemies with a advantage in speed would be easily defeated.

So what abilities from other animes and mangas do you think would be beneficial to DBZ characters?

This. I would rather DBZ not take from other animes. I want original techniques.

You can count on one hand all the elemental attacks in DBZ, so more elemental attacks?

I don't really think elemental-based attacks would really make DBZ people stronger or give them any real advantage over just regular ki blasts, though it would be interesting to mix it up occasionally instead of absolutely everyone just having basic ki blasts that were different only in color. There's a few examples of fire (always magic-based it seems... of course, normal fire probably wouldn't do much more than tickle someone who was strong enough to fight Dabura or Hirudegarn, so that's not surprising) and Master Roshi's lightning attack, but yeah, there's surprisingly few elemental-based attacks in Dragonball.
...and this randomly reminded me of a time, way back in 1999-2000 or so, when I didn't know much about DBZ and for some reason thought that Vegeta could use fire-based attacks. I'm not sure why. It would've made more sense to assume that of Trunks (since he has a move called "Burning Attack" and all), but for some reason Vegeta had the random fire powers in my mind back then.

Maybe Piccolo or the other Nameks could have more electricity-based attacks. He has zapped people with electricity from his antennae at some points, so it's established that he can use stuff like that... but (like most of the more unique attacks) it doesn't get used very often at all, and he never really develops a more-powerful version of it as far as we see.

Didn't some fan series have elemental-based Kamehameha variations for a few of the characters to mix it up instead of everyone just using the same old blue-beam Kamehameha? I can't remember what it was called, but I know I remember something like that from somewhere (I know there was a "Flame Kamehameha" or something along those lines at least, and maybe an electrical version too?)

As far as abilities taken from other anime... well, Future Trunks or one of the other sword-wielding characters having something similar to Zanpakuto abilities from Bleach (probably something basic like Getsuga Tenshou or one of the other "blast from sword" moves) would make for some more variety, while not being too far from "normal" DBZ (the video games usually give Trunks, Yajirobe, Tapion, etc. "energy slash" type moves already.)

Maybe something like the Sharingan (or one of the other various "weird eyes" in Naruto or other series) could work for Tenshinhan. He already has a weird extra eye, after all, so why not actually make him do something with it? He and Chiaotzu both tend to use a lot of self-sacrificing moves, too, so the "overuse this super technique and you'll go blind" aspect of the more advanced Sharingan forms would fit him.

Buu's fury for the GBA mentions an Electirc Kamehameha for Gohan and Flame Kamehameha for Trunks

I personally cant stand when a lot of beams are just named variations of Kamehamehas. Gohan's Electric Kamehameha is just a yellow beam fired like one. Unless he says Kamehameha in the Japanese dub, its a translation error.
