Has this been posted yet?

I'm betting that Vegito will likely kill Buu before he blows up the Earth.

It would have been cool if Buff Boo stayed. Oh well. I honesty think he should have lasted longer in the original manga. He just appears and goes.

This really feels pointless. We know there is no way Kid Boo stands a chance. We aren't really learning anything new so this feels really pointless.

So basically Salagir wants to waste peoples time with a story perspective that takes no effort to write and anyone could come up with.

Yeah I was wondering what Sal meant by that.

I thought what happen to Vegetto was obvious. Also how is this the "BIRTH OF VEGETTO"?

Also I have to say he could have put a nice twist. Still doesn't affect the story but like the butterfly affect. Because Vegetto stayed fused this happen. Hell even Vegetto removing his earings just because would have been great.

Pretty much. Instead we have a so far predictable story.

Predictable or not, I like this page for one thing at least - a handy reminder of why I've always liked this form of Boo. Sure, he may be weaker than Boohan technically, but you'd be making a mistake (as Goku/Vegeta did in canon, and now Vegito is here) if you assume he's any less dangerous because of it. In fact, he's more dangerous, since he's a lot less predictable now.

I guess Sal wanted to do a special to show what would happen if AT didn't made Vegito defused inside Buu. I think the idea is nice, but it's really a waste of time. We know that Vegito is going to one shoot Kid Buu before he blows up the Earth.

LOL the dialogue is so fanfic-y in these two pages. It just screams "Hey guys allow me to explictly describe all the power levels and who's stronger than who since I'm a fan who cares a lot about power level debates and all that shit!!".

To be fair, wasn't some of that dialogue more or less there in the original version? I seem to recall Goku and Vegeta commenting about how Boo's power went back down after he went from buff to kid forms anyway. And I know there was definitely a comment about 'Oh look how tiny he is, we can handle him now, dur hur' from Vegeta. You'd think he'd have learned by now not to doubt short people...

He could look in a mirror.

Vegeta was actually right in that case, as Pure Buu was complete weaksauce. Only a plot fiat made him survive for more than five seconds.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I'm not sure how the original version went, but if it's as you describe it's much better than this version since it was two characters talking to each other instead of someone talking to himself out loud. And a comment like that from Vegeta illustrates his arrogance, it tells us about his personality. Whereas in DBM Vegetto is just acting as the narrator.

Vegetto talks to himself so he can have intelligent conversation.

Exactly. He's not exactly a towering, imposing figure either, and yet he's still a force to be reckoned with. And how long did he live in fear of Freeza again? And (though this one's more of a stretch I admit) how quickly did he get his ass handed to him by the smaller (well, more slimmer than anything, hence the stretch) Cell? I rest my case.
RandomGuy96 wrote:Vegeta was actually right in that case, as Pure Buu was complete weaksauce. Only a plot fiat made him survive for more than five seconds.
He was still strong enough that he was too much for Goku to take down (though the SS3 conundrum is the plot thing you're talking about I'm guessing), and way too much for poor Vegeta to handle.

True, it being two people conversing does make it come off a little less weak. I was just suggesting that was probably why the dialogue is almost the same though - the only change in this story is that Vegito didn't unfuse. That, at the point in time of this special anyway, is a pretty minor change, extremely late in the story's game. So things are playing out much more closely to the original than ever before.

I'd be mad too if my favorite character was about to be killed.
