After that its looking for a manga artist to draw the series out. Youd be more than welcome to become its translator if you want.

So you need a manga artist when you draw fantastically yourself?

AjayLikesGaming translated the first half of Volume 5.
Sbjoern -who translated Volume 4 before- is also working on a translation from Japanese to English, but he's a bit busy these days so it might take a while before we can put our hands on it.
Patience really is a virtue with this doujin, but it's worth it. I'm looking forward to the next Volumes, thank you tomac66 for the scans!

There seems to be some pages missing. Also, is there a link to download them?

update youngjijii blog 8/25

YoungJiji will re-release his Dragon Ball AF series under the name "After the Future" due to copyright issues. All volumes will receive new covers. The first distribution has been planned for winter Comiket in Japan. The old versions will still be available until stock rupture. Volume 11 will be released as planned.

Wait ... he's actually trying to profit off of this? Isn't that copyright infringement?

Different countries, different laws. Doujin in Japan is pretty common. You can find Hentai doujin of popular series all the time over there for example.

Typically, japanese companies no longer pursue litigation against doujins. They seem to look at it almost like the "D League" of the manga industry, as a place to scout potential and up-and-coming talents. Ooishi was a doujin artist and thats how she landed the job doing the Son Goku and His Friends Return manga and the Episode of Bardock Manga. Toyble and Jijii openly sell their doujins online through their own websites, but in limited quantities which causes the explosive secondary market on ebay. If I tried to, the chances of litigation being pursued against me are still relatively low, but are higher than if I lived in Japan.

Yeah cause we know how "friendly" the US is when you try doing a fan series and make a profit off it.

Yep, Nintendo seems to be cracking down a lot recently. Copyrighting game footage on youtube, nearly banning footage of Smash Bros at EVO 2013, and just recently, brought down the copyright hammer on a Kickstarter Metroid fan film.

Nintendo has always been super sensitive about their material, I don't know why.

I think the reason most Japanese companies don't pursue litigation against doujinshis is due to the fact that, a lot of times, it drums up interest in their franchises. The little meager pittance doujinshi artists make selling their work at conventions doesn't cut into the profits of the actual series and companies themselves to warrant pursuing legal action against them. Toyble, I believe, was able to start selling his online due to a minor release and liability form he got from Viz and Toei (for those who don't know, its highly rumored that Toyble was an animation artist for Dragon Ball Z and GT), but that's merely speculation at this point. But I mean, look what it did for him. He's been doing the Victory Mission manga for a while now, so his doujinshi actually got him somewhere. Maybe US Companies should take the hint...

Indeed, but I HIGHLY doubt the US will change its views on the copyright laws. Granted there are more important issues but I really dont get why if someone decides to put time and hard work into say, a spin off of Star Wars or Lord of The Rings and decides to sell it online for say, 5 bucks, they can get sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars and face decades in prison.

Yet in Japan its like "Oh, wanna draw Bulma naked having sex with Master Roshi? Go for it."

But again, cultural differences. Sleeping on the job over there is approved of, yet here it can get you fired. Kickstarter which is seen here as a site where tons of people can come together under one goal, would be considered rude there as I believe in Japan, asking for money to work on something is considered offensive. Each have their ups and downs.

Indeed. Though I can feel them on the Kickstarter trip. Especially with Dragon Ball Absalon. Mellavelli has all the hardware, programs and crap to do the series already, so why the hell is he asking for people to give him money for something he's releasing for free?
