Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I'm kinda surprised that Vegetto's attack did as little damage as it did. It was even less damage than SSJ3 Goku's Kamehameha, which obliterate Boo into little pieces

Welp I call Bullshit.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I think Vegito's kamehameha was just meant to prevent kid buu from forming that energy ball, not eradicate him entirely. Hence why he was mostly intact.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
And for what reason would Vegetto not incinerate an opponent who is even more of a joke than Boohan. His Kamehameha did less damage then SSJ3 Goku's.xJeffx wrote:I think Vegito's kamehameha was just meant to prevent kid buu from forming that energy ball, not eradicate him entirely. Seems Salagir is listening to us about not wanting Buu to get taken out in one shot.

With kid buu trying to destroy the Earth, Vegito didn't have time to charge his kamehameha.dbzfan7 wrote:And for what reason would Vegetto not incinerate an opponent who is even more of a joke than Boohan. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Vegetto doesn't need time to charge a Kamehameha to wipe out this fly. Kid Boo is laughably weaker than him. Even more so than Boohan.xJeffx wrote:With kid buu trying to destroy the Earth, Vegito didn't have time to charge his kamehameha.dbzfan7 wrote:And for what reason would Vegetto not incinerate an opponent who is even more of a joke than Boohan. Geez, just because Vegetto didn't destroy him completely in one attack, that doesn't mean that Kid Buu isn't helpless against Vegetto, even much more so than Gohan-Buu.
Like it was said, Vegetto's attack was only meant to stop Kid Buu's attack. Vegetto only decided to move in to deliver him the finishing blow in this last page.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Compare SS1 Vegeto with Kid Buu, is the same as comparing Super Saiyan Goku (Namek) with some powerhouse of the Cell Games (either: Super Saiayn Full Power Goku, Gohan SS1 Full Power, SS2 Gohan or Perfect Cell). Vegeto is leagues above Kid Buu.

If I'm not bitching (and I'm not), I dunno what grounds other people have to complain.

Yeah....Power levels by Mr Salagir.
If Vegeto is so above Kid Buu, why it takes more than an attack to destroy it?

Salagir wrote:> Tiers and PLs in DBM.
Spoiler informations with tiers. There are big tiers, as someone can trash another in it.
There tiers may evolve in DBM and some surprises appearBut as I think a transformation is a powerlevel, less than a base multiplyer (eg Goku SSJ1 cant beat Vegeta SSJ2. Vegeta SSJ2 can't beat Goku SSJ3), one transformation basically mean a power level. Fusions are exceptions.
SSJ2 Tier: Goku SSJ2, Vegeta SSJ2, Vegeta M SSJ2, Young Gohan SSJ2, Perfect Cell (DBZ)
SSJ3 Tier: Goku SSJ3 (DBZ), Kid Buu, Super Buu, Base DBZ Vegetto, Young Gotenks SSJ3 (DBZ)
In-between: Mystic Gohan, base Vegetto, Son Bra SSJ1(?)
SSJ"4" Tier: Buu-Gotenks, Buu-Gohan
SSJ"5" Tier: SSJ1 Vegetto, SSJ2 Son Bra
SSJ"6" Tier: SSJ2 Vegetto, Broly at the end of his fight, Buu U4
SSJ"38" Tier: me
Does that mean Vegetto SSJ3 can beat Buu U4? Not clearly. SSJ3 takes all of Vegetto's energy very fast, and Buu still is the most difficult thing to kill in the universe. And if Buu isn't killed, he isn't beaten.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Going by Salagir's list he is TWO TIERS ABOVE KID BOO. A weak attack should be enough at Vegetto's level. If he were in base then I would be okay with what's going on as Base Vegetto has no placement(in canon).

I don't get the point of rehashing the obvious. I hope there is some real payoff at the end of the special.
The art is great though.

It's called plot armor, I can name several fights where one warrior should have one shotted the other and it didn't happen.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Actually the quality of the art is starting to decrease slightly in the last two pages. I hope this is just a sign that this special is nearing its end and that the artist just wanted to wrap it up quickly.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I take it as Vegetto being more preoccupied with trying to get rid of that planet crushing energy ball than killing Boo.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Already been explained. Vegetto has only now decided to move in for the kill. His previous attacks were only meant to stop Kid Buu's attacks. Also, any Buu is much more tough to kill than any saiyan or a human of the same power level, and the damage done to the body of a Buu by various things and different types of attacks of different power levels has not always been consistent in the original manga.DannyDBZfanforever wrote:Yeah....Power levels by Mr Salagir.

Also why do you all focus so much in what Salagir said outside of the manga itself? I just follow the manga, and even the specials I follow to a lesser degree than the main story since their main goal is to give time for the artists to do the main story. Instead, you take everything that was ever said by Salagir or is written anywhere in the novel or whatever and try to find any kind of inconsistency to criticize, even if its a minor one or a forced one. Talk about nitpicky, geez...
