-Tights is from the West Capital; Omori notes that Tights sounds like a name from the western region.
-She's also a bit of an extortionist. She forces her way back to Omori's island by telling them that she might rat them out if they make her stay behind.
-She's also fairly smart, figuring out that Jaco is an alien very easily after SUPER ELITE slips up and says "Earth Police". Omori tried to pass him off as a "foreigner from another country" (how would that work in DB?), but she says there aren't any foreigners like him.
-Jaco is 4'10" and has the ability to fly via his boots. This can only be used once, in case of emergencies.
-The location where Jaco saved Tights was "Capital Ward 32", and the event happened at 8pm. The police are searching for Jaco after he beat up two of them and are calling him the "Mask Man".

A lot of fun details in this chapter if you zoom in. A lot aren't super clear, but you can see some people in windows and stuff. And what is Jaco watching on the TV? Almost looks like a Neko Majin! Maybe a superhero rabbit or something...

Anyway, I was sort of confused by the statement that he can only use the flying technique "once." Once per what? Day? Hour? Lifetime??

And YES! As HxH said, you can now buy back-issues of of Viz's Shonen Jump, so if you're in a region where this is possible, get caught up!

Isn't this related to Battle of Gods, where Bills' lizard appearance was replaced with that of Toriyama's cat?!!

It happens all the time with my cats. We have lots of small geckos and lizards making their way into houses. Sadly for them, cat.

The new issue of Viz's WSJ has the behind the scenes notes that I assume are the same as have been running in Jump LIVE! Very exciting to see those. It also has a colored version of the panel where Jaco fights the shark.

I thought his last line "Will I be able to stay on schedule until the final chapter? That part is much more thrilling and suspenseful than the actual plot." Was hilarious

Yep, that's the first (of two so far) long-form Toriyama comments/essays/interviews/whatevers from Jump LIVE! We'll have translations of our own at some point, which don't significantly differ from Viz's... but hey, they're our own!

Tights isn't the idol "An Azuki", but she is the one who will be on the rocket. It'd be bad publicity if they lost their "super idol" in a launch mishap, after all; this way, they can perform a "miraculous rescue" if the people in the rocket are killed. The money she used to buy the Sky Gold was her compensation for taking on the job (hazard pay?).

Also, we see Katayude (the police inspector from chapter 2) at home. He appears to be a fastidious dresser, with a taste for fine wine, and a penchant for teddy bears and kitsch.

The process stuff included in this week's WSJ was awesome! It was great to hear Toriyama discuss the difference between traditional and digital a bit. The "in progress" panel is really neat, but a little too small to study properly.

As for Jaco... things are developing quite interestingly. The gag with the police sketch was hilarious, and quite different than anything I've seen Toriyama do. It actually reminded me of One Piece! Anyway, it's a little sad to see the DB-#'s going down. The end is near!

That police sketch of Jaco really made me laugh. I wasn't expecting to see something like that pop up and when it did I cracked. XD *Wonders if it's like Sanji's wanted poster where there actually turns out to be a character who looks like that drawing ala Duval.* X3
Nice twist with An and Tights; genuinely did not see that coming. Still not sure how it ties in to DB outside the possibility of baby Goku on his way to Earth going on at the same time, but you can tell Toriyama's having fun with this story.
