I know Goku lost muscle mass but he lost none of his power, hence why I say hes got the Bruce Lee body.

Toriyama asked why he chose red for SSJG and he said he just liked red and that its a strong looking color. Look it up in the interview section.

If you read Toyble's AF doujin youll see what I mean by the similarities.
Goku wan't that jacked to begin with. He was chiseled.

For the AF thing it was 7 Super Saiyans infuse their light into the dragon balls or something like that, which is also stupid.
I myself prefer YJ to Toyble. I love Toyble's Ryu-Shin realm concept but for things like Xicor and bringing Broly back, not so much. I do however like how Toyble has made LSSJ just another grade like Grade 1 and 3 like I have for DBSW.

I don't really like either of them to be honest.

They both have their flaws. I just prefer YJ for the artstyle and the fact Goku has yet to fight and win a battle. Its been everyone else doing the fighting and I love that. Still no Piccolo though, wonder when hell include him.

I liked that too, but you can clearly see how bad he ripped of Toriyama.

Honestly that doesent bug me. Yeah he traces a lot, but hes tracing from the source material. Its Dragon Ball coming from Dragon Ball. If he was doing traces from other series such as Bleach and One Piece, then id have a issue with it.

No, Super Saiyan God Goku is muscular skinny as well.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Funny as shit.

@DBZGTKOSDH This doesn''t seem skinny muscle to me. The average in shape fit man has just the same amount of muscle as him. Usually Goku have that little chalk muscle that body builders have. In God form looks like that took out all the food Kid Goku ate.

P.S. My new signature is the SHIT!

To be fair, I'm a Martial Artist, have been since I was 3 and I'm a Second Degree Black Belt in Kyokushin Karate, and I have the same looking body as SSJG Goku. Hell I'm only 4-5% body fat and weigh between 120-130 pounds. I also eat like a freaking horse but still look the same due to my metabolism, I mean if I'm standing straight normally you can see my ribs. Point is, there are Martial Artists even in real life with SSJG Goku's body.

Been there before. Well..not with drawing, but making sure everything syncs up, checking if it fits canon, yeah..many a Tylenol have been ingested and many a pizza roll devoured. I'm gonna have grey hairs and I'm only 19.

Indeed. I assume you do it by hand and then ink it on the computer? I dont and cant draw so I dont know the whole process.

Actually I pencil and ink all by hand. The only thing done on the cpu is box lines, text, speed and focus lines, and greyscale/ black tones. It takes too long to ink on my tablet. Believe me I tried.

Vicious circle. Doing it by hand = faster and easier, but more expensive. Computer = longer and harder, but cheaper. Its a win/lose situation either way.

Understandable, harder you work on it the more rewarding the final product feels.

Interesting. I sketch and ink almost everything digitally now and it's faster and easier for me to do. Especially when inking digitally. But to be fair, I do use a wacom Cintiq 12wx tablet which allows me to draw directly on the screen. I had a normal wacom tablet before but I found it difficult to use when I have one hand on the tablet and my eyes on the monitor.

I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet, so I have to have my eyes on the monitor and hand on the tablet, so yeah. harder. I wish I could afford the better tablets, but I'm poor. Unlike some fan projects, I don't ask for free money

Hehe, nice shot. All I got is a pencil and stick figures. Other than that I'm writing the DBSW timeline in another tab, taking forever
