The three new non-MC characters fit into the rival archetype. I wonder if this means there's a small chance of Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez appearing... And who would the second One Piece character possibly be? Shanks? Smoker?

Naah, for that rival archetipe Uryu Ishida or Renji Abarai probably fit better :P

This game is kicking SO much ass right now!! :D

I wonder who they're going to choose between Kuwabara and Hiei for Yusuke's rival character. I'm also assuming its going to be between Sanosuke or Aoshi Shinomori for Kenshin.

But I must admit, I think the inclusion of secondary characters just cut Yugi's chances on making it in somewhat... Bummer :| but I'm still happy with what we have so far.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

OK Vegeta's in this. Shut up and take my money!

There's also Saitō Hajime for Kenshin.
I guess if we're to compare Dragon Ball and Rurouni Kenshin I'd say Sanosuke would be Piccolo while Saitō would be Vegeta :P

Awesome, we're getting rivals too?! So much potential for this, but I hope these aren't the only series. The 80s are horribly underrepresented thus far (Fist of the North Star, Saint Seiya, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Kinnikuman, Dr. Slump, etc).

I like the rival choices:

Vegeta's always a fun choice, he was Goku's rival for quite a bit of time, and probably the most rivalry one among Goku's time under the Sun.

Sasuke's a good choice, because I can beat Sasuke to death with the awesome cast of the game, and that will bring me much joy.

Zebra...Zebra's amazing.

From the personality to his insane sound-based attacks (he can hear you from miles away and whisper in your ear from just as far away), which can quite brutally kill you...my favorite of the three (Sasuke's not even in that contest, lol).

I hope this doesn't mean that we won't get any other series. I want Norimaki Arale-chan from Dr. Slump...
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

This looks pretty cool. Not really intersted in other Jump franchises though

Zebra looks like a rapist. Especially in this shot.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Serious questions...
How much will it fully cost to import this game?
Will there be a way to set everything but the voices to english, so I can at least know where I am going and learn the controls???

It'll probably cost anywhere from 80 to maybe even 100 bucks depending on shipping/etc. And the game will most likely be in all Japanese.

I think the game won't be too hard to navigate through, like Battle Stadium D.O.N. That game was straightforward enough.

Hmm... well maybe I should just wait for some of you guys to import and test it, then see what you guys thought. If there's a way to AT LEAST turn the text or menus to English, then I'd like to know.
