I'm happy I plunked down the cash for the BoG Blu-Ray, but it'll take about 2 weeks to get to my mailbox. :(

Sadly, I'm sure rips/subs will pop up less than a day after the Japanese street date. Better be on the lookout, Toei/FUNimation...

Huh, that new poster that Avenged posted kinda reminds me of the original promo we got for the movie. The one from way before we knew anything about Super Saiyan God, or God of Destruction, or anything at all other than a movie was coming. It ended with a zoom-in and pan-around of Goku.

I don't think the poster is an actual shot from that promo, but it reminded me of it anyway.

Where did you order it from? I ordered from Amazon Japan and it says it'll get here by the Sunday after it comes out or the Wednesday after. CD Japan even has a shipping method that only takes a few days.

You got me. I double checked the CDJapan order and I paid for FedEx International Priority shipping, so I will end up getting it by the end of the week when it ships. I don't know where I got the two weeks from.

I thought so. Goku's outfit is from the Namek/Freeza arc. Skinny belt, Boot lining and lace colors are swapped. And Bills/Birus/Beers/Idgaf looks too sharp compared to the pillar he's standing on.

Just came to think about it what if saiyan god is false saiyan god, since all seven saiyans have to be super saiyans and pan was not. :think:

In that case, imo, full power ssjg would grant a special outfit to go along with the power-up. (Much like how ssj4 has its own.)

Shen Long does not state that they need to be Super Saiyan. The Saiyans all simply chose to use Super Saiyan for the sequence.

No.

From what we are told, Super Saiyan is not required. They probably used Super Saiyan because they would give more power to Goku. And as for why Goku wasn't Super Saiyan 3, Vegeta wasn't Super Saiyan 2 and Gohan wasn't Ultimate, they probably didn't use these forms because they make them more angry and merciless, while Super Saiyan doesn't affect their personality, since they have all master it, and Super Saiyan God requires righteous Saiyans.

Well, on Saturday I went to the movies and to my surprise, they are promoting the film. I could not believe what I was seeing!!

Battle of the Gods will be released on 10/11/13 at theaters in my country. I'm very very excited!!
