Gohan has far more skill than Yamcha, Gohan stomps.
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

Yamcha couldn't even take down someone much weaker than him with a direct hit from the Kamehameha. Gohan lasted 25 minutes against someone far stronger than him. Gohan tanks everything until Yamcha dies of exhaustion... if he doesn't get the shit beaten out of him first.

But Gohan will notice that Yamcha is wearing clothes just like his dad's, and will have a breakdown. He goes into shock, and Yamcha, in a desperate attempt not to screw up, ends up tripping and knocking himself out on a rock. Double KO.

To give an actual answer I would say Gohan's skill would give him the win as he was trained by Piccolo and Goku.
