I find it funny how the fight was boring as all hell and should have ended in 5 seconds or less, but this is where the story finally gets interesting. They probably should have just started from here or had a shot of him killing Kid Boo then have this as page 2. Still don't get how the "Birth of Vegetto" is the title when this has nothing to do with that.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Vegeta loves his children a great deal. I'm sure Vegerot loves Trunks even more though.

Has there ever been any power comparisons between Gohan and Cell so far?

Seeing how Bra was born from Vegito in this universe, seems Bulma got a whole lot of lovin.

Poor Chi-Chi, also, next chapter will be about fights that happened when Vegetto was gone.

I am happy and yet unsatisfied with this... A proper hentai comic must be made!

Big Fail is Fail. This special looks more like a soap opera  . What comes next? Bulma is getting married again. And then she cheats Vegeto with Yancha. Vegeto has a fatal disease and he leaves his money for his illegitimate son (he had an affair with #18 in the countryside on a day in the middle of summer  ). Now talking seriously about this Special, it has nothing to do with DB. This Special = Cheap soap opera of drama :eh:. Just my opinion.

In the comic Chi Chi backs down with somewhat sound logic. In the novel Vegetto makes a choice, saying that Both Goku and Vegeta like Bulma, but only Goku likes Chi Chi, thus making a choice for Bulma. I think I like the comic version better. OF COURSE the best version would be taking both of them as wives and living in sin. Just saying.

Nice page.

Also, the next chapter will show us the fights Vegetto (and we) missed.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Huh. I'm actually getting 'feels' for Chi Chi here. This is actually kind of sad in a way. I mean, her logic makes sense and all, and we already knew that Vegito at least went back to Bulma long enough to make Bra, but...

Yes, because adding any sort of dramatic effect at all is automatically a soap opera. :P

I'm excited to see what the fights we missed were like too, woot.

Chi-Chi's reasoning makes complete sense. Cool page.

It was ONE DAMN PAGE and the rest of the special was action. Absolutely nothing warranted this post.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

The storytelling is pretty strange in this page and the last one. We had 16 pages of Vegetto fighting Buu (i.e. one single plot point), and now we have 2 pages where we're bombarded with at least four different plot points in one or two panels each.

Add to this the fact that almost all panels in these last two pages are just simple face shots and that they've almost totally dropped the ball on drawing backgrounds, and this makes this seems like some sort of visual plot draft instead of an actual comic.

They should have either expanded these two pages (but I guess that would be too much "soap drama" for some readers) or just have the narrator summarizes this in one short text block (like Akira Toriyama would have done).

The Chi Chi Vegito thing is handled much better here to me than the novel.
