What kind of DBZ game would you like to be made?
This can be any genre you want.
I for some reason wanna see a DBZ party game. I kinda want to see a Mario party like game with DBZ characters. IDK why but I want one to be made. Problem is the last time another franchise did that it kinda sucked.

Open world, create your own character with great detail, real time physics, maybe a real time day and night, weather changes, hmm advanced a.i. example you could be bad if you want, destroy a city and they will slowly rebuild, and you work up a reputation, they may send a army your way.
I would say you start off with a BP of 5 or 10 you can train and explore the Dragon World, oh yeah full scale Dragon World by the way. possible online mode, no rooms, no modes, just go online with others, i guess MMO style. if the networking is not as advanced as what i am thinking by then, you may pick different worlds that can hold so many people.
There would also by a story mode, from the start of Dragon Ball to the end of Z. possible what if paths and storys. "what if Gohan finished Cell when Gokuu said so?"
This game is on a scale so big in my mind it would take a console 20 years from now to achieve. but that is a part of my ideas.

I'd also like a party game with mini games. Could be really fun if done right.
A new Legacy of Goku II style game.

It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

I would just make it open world with real-time physics. Other than that, it would still be a fighting game with a level up system like in Budokai 3.

Oh yes! Something like Mario Party only with DBZ (Infinite World mini games and many others would apply there)DBZ Mick wrote:I'd also like a party game with mini games. Could be really fun if done right.

This. Making DBGT Transformation for GBA a side-scrolling beat-em-up instead of like the LOG games was the most wasted opportunity ever.DBZ Mick wrote: A new Legacy of Goku II style game.
Also Budokai 4 or Infinite World 2.

Make an Infamous-style Dragon Ball game. That would be awesome.

Re: What kind of DBZ game would you like to be made?
I have quite a few ideas, but I'd be really happy with a DBZ game resembling a traditional RPG with exp points, levels, equip and things of that sort. Probably the type of DBZ game I've wanted the longest. I could just picture having to build up Gohan and Piccolo to a certain level before having to face the Saiyans, which would be done by either fighting random creatures or sparring. Yeah, I'd be really satisfied with a game like that.

Count me in for a full-scale DBZ RPG. We've never yet had that, at least not that I'm aware of, and I'd love to get to play one.
That said, I'd also settle for a simple RPG again, in the vein of the Legacy of Goku series, only on a home console instead of a portable system. I would also be down for something in the vein of Sagas, only...you know, good.

Ultimate Butouden + Infinite World + Burst Limit with high end PS4 graphics.
Oh, and a new animated opening with Kageyama! Maybe even have the guy who did the Budoukai Tenkaichi 2 replacement score do the soundtrack.

Re: What kind of DBZ game would you like to be made?
A full fledge shin budokai 3 for ps4 with an improved SBAR engine with budokai HD collection graphics. I also would want atleast 3 or 4 cancel combinations for each character. Probably around 120-130 characters. I would also love a lot of fusion what-ifs and some teen/kid form of characters such as teen vegeta, teen broly etc. And we couldn't go wrong with a good character creator. Also some music similar to the budokai games with an intro similar to budokai 2

Re: What kind of DBZ game would you like to be made?
Skrim based. You're a Saiyan on Planet Vegeta. You get better amour and new attacks.
Re: What kind of DBZ game would you like to be made?
Action RPG.
There's a full encyclopedia of content in the Dragon World, a whole map of the world with various regions (plus other planets and the Other World and the Kaio Shin Kai), various cities, hundreds of characters to interact with, etc...
The main manga story would be used for the main plot, while the many fillers of the anime adaptations - including all movies - would make tons of side quests with various rewards and corresponding exclusive landscapes/characters to see (Hell, Paikuhan, Gregory, driving lessons, Other World Tournament, etc...), that you could choose to do as the on-going story unlocks them or come back to it once you've ended the main plot.
For each character, you would be able to unlock and choose all costumes they've been seen wearing (including those on all of Toriyama's illustrations and anime fillers).

Re: What kind of DBZ game would you like to be made?
I know it will NEVER happen after the failure of UT...
...but I want a DBZ fighting game with PROPER character creation and customisation
50 slots, both genders, Saiyans, Namekians, Humans, Majins and all other races, over 100 options for hair and clothing, etc
Plus you could make new outfits for your characters
And there will be characters from DB, Z and GT
That will be my IDEAL DB fighting game

I want this for future DBZ games. Though each race should only get one transformation/power up.AnzuMazaki wrote:I know it will NEVER happen after the failure of UT...

Re: What kind of DBZ game would you like to be made?
A purer action game (Doesn't have to be Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden, but if Kingdom Hearts II can pull off the fast-paced nonsense it, Dragon Ball has be deprived) or an RPG- something that transitions seamlessly from field to battle, say The Last Story, would probably be best, but Shin Budokai got me thinking about how a screen-transitioning RPG like a Tales sort of game might work.

Re: What kind of DBZ game would you like to be made?
I said before a few years ago that it would be cool to have a DBZ game that played like Prototype or Infamous (like someone above said). But instead of doing some cliche shit like being a random Saiyan it would be centered around Boo.
The game starts off with a black screen with Bibidi narrating, talking about creating the ultimate killing machine to take over the universe or something. So you play as Kid Boo and work your way from Pre-DB stuff like ravaging worlds and killing the Kais up to the Boo arc where the game ends with Goku giving his little farewell speech then the screen fades to black or white. Then it switches to a first person view of someone waking up from sleeping and it turns out to be Oob who was being called up by his mother to let him know that his flight to the island where the 28th Budokai is located will be leaving in an hour or something. The very last fight is a well done quick time event thingy where you fight Goku and the rest plays out from there.
