Yeah we got a Goku costume for Naruto. Not too excited for it but Goku might look pretty cool in Naruto's gear so meh. I like that there's extra content but it hasn't been confirmed to come out over here yet so I guess we'll have to see. I wanna see the Yardrat outfit haha. I always thought a recolor of the Yardrat costume's pants would be cool.

Nice, I was starting to think this game would have no alt costumes. Plus some Naruto stuff is always a bonus to me.

Goku's getting one of Naruto's recent outfits as an alternate costume in Battle of Z, available to people in Japan who buy the game during its first run. No word on if the bonus will be available in the West yet, but didn't we get the similar Goku outfit for Naruto in Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 earlier this year?

Why are people so un-happy about it? He looks pretty badass. It's better than getting the costume with another symbol on it as an alt.

It is based on this drawing of Toriyama BTW:

(Toriyama drew Goku, Kishimoto drew Naruto)

However it's not better than getting the yadrat costume or the EoZ one, It's reverse-fanservice. Heck If they wanted something new they could have given the outfit during before the cell games, or the second outfit he has in Ultimate Butouden.Nightstar1994 wrote:Why are people so un-happy about it? Hey, atleast it's pretty unique.
Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
I'd rather his GT outfit since GT Goku isn't going to show up. I'd like the outfit Goku wears during the 10 days before the Cell games.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Despite the fact that I have no intention to buy this game early on (assuming we'd even get this costume in the US), I do like when developers do this sort of thing. Sure it may not be one of the costumes from the series, but it's still something unique from Toriyama's art outside the series itself that we haven't gotten before.
Also, new opening animation. Woot!

Eh, looks kinda cool but I'd prefer if they allowed to fully customise the characters in every aspect than limiting them to this and that, I noticed they have like different coloured costumes nothing special really.
I would have preferred Seiya's costume instead but hey at least it's something different than the same costume in every single other game.
