DBZ Buyurets was a pretty kick-ass game! So... why did the NES/SNES get so many DBZ games while Genesis only got one? (and one for the Sega Saturn as well)

Sean Schemmel is THE MAN! :)

Me- "Also, before anyone mentions it, Schemmel's interview was from nearly 15 years ago. He paid a brief visit to Kanzenshuu's forums a few years back and earned legendary respect that cancels out anything he said from that long ago. :D"

I don't think the Genesis wasn't very successful in Japan

Three games actually.

Sega Mega Drive
* Dragon Ball Z: The Appeal of Destiny

Sega Saturn
* Dragon Ball Z: Shin Butoden
* Dragon Ball Z: The Legend

Well, four if you count the bootleg Final Bout.

This is the pirate DBZ game I remember playing in the 90's, it was a grey console and the cartridges were Famicom-type. I wish I could buy this game again.

Anyway, Sega was more focused on the Nintendon't stuff, I think.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Wait, someone made a pirated Genesis version of a Playstation game? And not just any one but a really crappy one? Why would someone even do that?
