Just finished watching the movie and I loved it. Birus has just become one of my new favorite Dragon Ball villains. I like his extremely lax way of handling things, it's like Freeza only he doesn't let his little fits get the better of him.

I kinda felt like Goku achieved Super Saiyan God a little too easily though and it happened in practically no time at all. I know that since it's a movie they can't focus on anything for too long for the sake of flow but still I'd be nice if there was a little more to SSJ God than "Have 6 Saiyans stand in a circle and now you're God".

Other than that minor complaint I thought the movie was really fun and I look forward to seeing it again with Steve's subtitles and English Dubbed with the Kai cast.

I went for Amazon's steelbook blu-ray version, honestly why watch it in standard def? Blu-Ray is at the point where it's affordable, remember the decline in VHS in the 2000s? That was because DVDs were getting affordable as well as the players.

If you're in the US you can the BRD on any player as we're the same region as Japan "A". DVDs are Region-2 and we're Region-1.

The footage is interlaced, so I guess it's exactly the same as that on the single DVD.

If you're in the US you can the BRD on any player as we're the same region as Japan "A". DVDs are Region-2 and we're Region-1.
