As long as it's somewhere safe?
Mine arrived!! X3
I'm unwrapping it now, just finished taking it out of its big FedEx box.
So happy I was able to stay awake, I coasted on mini-naps since around eight this morning as I was afraid of sleeping through it after working yesterday. Still kinda tired, but ok.
The box is a nice size. It's not thick or thin, does the job.
Flipping through the booklet, the pencil sketches are a nice touch, and the "Let's Dance" made me smile.
The movie cards are definitely bigger than the ones I got in VJump years back.
Wall figure's super-sturdy. Figure itself is ok, the hair is adorable, the background is really nice.

The Kanji for the credits. I'm glad to see a few familiar faces in there, like Kan'no Toshiyuki and Oonishi Ryou. Otherwise I don't see too many other talented animators other than Shida Naotoshi, Ishigami Hiromi and Hamono Yuu'ichi.

I opened the disc case and ads fell out. XD
Nice big fold out ad with sentai stuff on one side and DB on the other.
Also the ad for the hair wax (with a url using the spelling "doragonballz" ), ad for db/op carddass, ad for animanga for 8 and BOG, ad for cubic theater figures, support info, Toei points club, and instructions on how to fold out wall figure's stand.
Edit: Forgot about the poster, opening. It's case is strong. Poster is bigger than expected, no clue where to put it now, but still nice.
Now then, I'm gonna go get ready to watch this movie. :3

You forgot humor and character moments. Also, what the hell is wrong with the fighting ?sintzu wrote:this is my review after watching it but i won't go into detail cause i don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen or read about it :

The final fight is a mess of CG character models and layouts. There's actually a lot of CGI used throughout the movie, indicating a rushed schedule, too. The script is great, but this is just another case of awful directing, scheduling, and budgeting from Toei Animation.

Dragon Ball Z isn't completely about the fighting. I'm gonna get shot and hanged for saying that, but yeah, it isn't only that :p Can't say I've seen it yet though, so maybe you're right :psintzu wrote:there wasn't much fighting and what was there didn't feel like dbzTheMightyOzaru wrote:Also, what the hell is wrong with the fighting ?sintzu wrote:this is my review after watching it but i won't go into detail cause i don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen or read about it :

I can understand why you felt that way. It's not very kung-fu-esque and feels closer to fights in robot anime.sintzu wrote:there wasn't much fighting and what was there didn't feel like dbz

Can't order the package, but i downloaded the DVD rip today and watched it.
I already was pumped to the maximum, but the movie was even more epic.
Only thing that bothered me was Masako Nozawa's yells, which aren't really her best area in voice acting. They were better in the 90's.
After watching the movie i had a sudden urge to watch a certain scene from it. So i did. And again.
And again.

Woke up to the doorbell and gave the delivery guy a half naked greeting before opening it up. Got a few friends coming over for a movie marathon and some gaming tournaments before wrapping it all up with Battle of Gods.

your right but it's a big part of what makes dbz dbz so having dbz with little to no fighting is like having macaroni and cheese with little to no cheeseTheMightyOzaru wrote: Dragon Ball Z isn't completely about the fighting. Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2013 Movie Thread: "Battle of Gods
I enjoyed Pilaf Gang's antics way more than I thought I would, they are fun. X3
Gokû trying to be polite (desu) and having it come across all awkward was adorable (desu).
I like the way Beers moves, I feel it would not come across as well in manga form, made me appreciate that this was animated.
Oh but the cgi stuck out like a sore thumb at times, looking at you Capsule Corp.
Not as much silly Vegeta stuff as I'd hoped, like what they had shown in ads was it, but I'm ok with that.
The way Gokû and Kaiô-sama interact is great.
Good on Chi-Chi chewing Gohan out after his drunken stunt got Videl hurt.
I feel if you have a cat or know someone who does, it adds to the level of entertainment you get from Beers.
I finally get to see ssjg in blu ray quality! SO cute.
Wow at however Gokû absorbed that huge attack in ssjg. O_O
Also, that is some fast and hard set of slaps Bulma hit him with off camera at the end.
Also! All the character sheets, even ssjg which I really hoped for, were on the disc add extras.
Oh! And Beers' and Whis' home is very pretty.
And the wasabi sauce was hilarious.
I need to find a way to view the other disc though, add it's DVD.
Overall, that was a lot of fun, totally worth it. I wish the budget had been bigger, and that we'd gotten to travel/adventure more, but still, loads of fun.

I think one of my favorite part was the credits
On another note with regard to the finale
As far as absorbing the big attack it looked to me more like he just contained it and blew it apart like with a barrier in the video games
