Well..it is a gag art but still...I'm not going to lie and say that's a good reason to have bad art. This art reminds me of that GT episode of Goku vs Cell and Freeza in hell. With Cell's weird ass drawingdbzfan7 wrote:What Gyt said. Also the art really sucks here compared to the other artists.

Krillin: "Dear God what happened to your face!?" This is in regards to Cell BTW.
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Is it just me, or does the art for this page suddenly look a lot better?

I really don't like how Gohan is portrayed in DB Multiverse. He looks angry 95% of the time. Sheesh, just because he has fully outlined eyes due to Ultimate form doesn't mean his brows should always frown
He also acts way too serious, in contrast with the clumsy, strong-but-smiling Gohan that we saw in Battle of Gods, in the Uub Saga, and when Goku threw a Potara at him. In DB Multiverse he is the "No Fun Allowed" guy.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I agree to an extent, but to be fair - this is a different Gohan from what we have in the series proper. This is a Gohan whose father never de-fused from Vegeta. Not to mention the whole deal with Vegito apparently having once threatened to kill Pan or something, if Gohan would give him a better fight.Marco Polo wrote:I really don't like how Gohan is portrayed in DB Multiverse. Ah, and speaking of Pan, this is the same Gohan who recently saw his daughter viciously killed by Bojack. This Gohan has gone through quite a few more mentality scarring events recently than the canon Gohan has.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
There's apparently something like that in the fan fiction version of Multiverse's story, yeah. Or maybe it was he threatened to just blow up the Earth? I can't remember the specifics, but he definitely threatened something pretty terrible, that would definitely have Gohan keeping an eye on him forever more.dbzfan7 wrote:He threatened to kill Pan if Gohan didn't fight him?Gyt Kaliba wrote:

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
You know, I wonder if the Gohans could fuse. That'd probably be stronger than Vegetto unless "rival boost" is a thing in the comics.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
That sounds really stupid. I'm surprised Gohan would show any concern for Vegetto if he was such an assholeGyt Kaliba wrote:

Hmm...what would we call such a fusion though? Gohahn? Gohaan? ...'Super Gohan'?CaBrPi wrote:You know, I wonder if the Gohans could fuse. That'd probably be stronger than Vegetto unless "rival boost" is a thing in the comics.

...But...but...fusion! Special fusion name! It's...tradition...and and -
Yeah, you're probably right. When two people with literally the same name fuse, it's probably too messy to try and come up with a new name at all.

SonGo would be the name. The last name conbines with the first 2 letters of the name. For example. Goku and Goku. SonGo! Trunks and Trunks. BriefTr. Goten and Goten. SonGo. Chi and Chi. SonChi.Gyt Kaliba wrote:...But...but...fusion! Special fusion name! It's...tradition...and and -

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Vegetto didn't threaten anything, he just had a strong urge to hurt Pan so Gohan would fight him with everything he had. And of course in the manga we recently saw Vegetto admit that he wanted to hurt Gohan.
